#3 is the Reporter chick
#5 is the guy that was the aide to the President (left at the depot)
#6 is our favorite blond
#8 is Sharon

The Philosopher (Prisoner & 'rogue' on the Depot)
The Black Doctor

I think that the 12 models include the basic models:

Bulletheads
Fightercraft

We still have 4 to find!

Baltar is not a Cylon. He is simply a sociopath with a projection for an alter ego.

I love that the projections bear no resemblance of the real person. They truely are projections of thier own personality. The #6s (there is more than one) were not connected to Caprica 6. They don't have the memories and definitely do not love Baltar. I have a feeling that Baltar will find this out, just a little too late.

I hope Caprica 6 doesn't meet Baltar too soon, since he _will_ drive her insane. Insanity can come from trying to reconcile reality with what you think is/was reality.

Do you really think that Baltar would be into Caprica 6? I mean she did use him to kill the human race. I seem to remember he was quite p.o'd in the mini-series.

Nah....what am I saying? Of course he would!

Oh, and notice the communistic setup, even with the everyone is equal, but some are more equal than others.

Well, I had to update the "Screendoor in a Hurricane" cliche

Caught the episode last night on re-run. It was good. I do think Scar and the Captain's Hand were better though.

I especially like how in the Captain's Hand the take a minor character like the Pegasus Captain and make him complex: He's way above his peter principal, and paranoid about it, but he is also a man of courage who is willing to die for his crew.

The writers have out done themselves. This was simply the best episode! The Best!
I re-watched the re-run.

I noticed that both the 'Caprica Six' and the Six in Baltar's head are very religious, yet Baltar is not. Neither Baltar nor his projection by Caprica Six are religious.

It might be serously repressed from early childhood upbringing. How many intellectuals do you know that have 'thrown off' thier early church experiences.

Also, he is, through the Caprica 6 projection, getting messages about "God's Plan". I think many Meglomanics have this in common with Baltar.

Wow! We need to have someone here with a Degree in Psychiatry do work up on Baltar.

He's Schizophenic (hearing voices)
He's a Sociopath (Willing to kill to boost himself/his beliefs)
He's a Meglomanic (More important than anyone else in the world)
Some sort of victim complex (look at what Rossalyn thinks of me!)

He's a mess. A classic super villian, full of internal conflict over things he's done, all the while knowing he's better than others, but still 'subordinate' to the voices he hears.

Amazing.

And Caprica 6 is the opposite. She is full of remorse for what she did. She didn't understand what she was doing was wrong. But she does know now and needs to atone for it, along with Galactica Sharon (The one stationed on Galactica).

The Sharon on Galactica we should call Caprica Sharon (Origin). Got to keep them straight now that both are going to be main characters.

Maybe Helo-Sharon vs. Chief-Sharon.

Other ideas?

Yes, but his early childhood experiences should have been with the Gods of Kobol. His projection of Six seems to know a lot about the Cylon God. How could he have that knowledge? Unless...

Or maybe they're both crazy, and seeing projections from their own heads.

Ok. Hear is a theory:

The colonials have twelve "Kobol" gods.

I think I remember in one of the shows they said something about there being a 13th lord of kobol who wanted dominion over the others and was kicked out of the club.

Can this 13th god be the Cylon god?

(or maybe I am not remembering this right.?)

Perhaps, but James Callis (Baltar) plays such a terrific psycho. The episode when they crashed on Kobol and he was in the fire in the Raptor - that's some good acting. And the time the other doctor was testing him and running scans on his brain - when he threw a glance toward the doc when the doc said he was crazy - mmm - good stuff.

Number Six - yeah, she's psycho too, but in a 'control freak' sorta way.

Indeed they are the perfect couple.

-Z-man.

PS: Interesting thought about the 13th Lord of Kobol being a cylon. Wouldn't that imply that the earthlings (the lost 13th tribe) are also cylons? Hmmm.....

I don't remember that part...........................there must of been a reason for them to venture off on their own though.

The longest Wilkpedia listing ever:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Battlestar_Galactica_(2003)

Remember, this has all happened before, and will happen again................perhaps they are caught up in a time loop?

Well, you could be the god of the cylons without actually BEING a cylon.

Actually, listening to the podcast, the director addressed this - he said that using cars that we are used to (Fords & Toyotas) would take the viewer out of the show - so he opted to use european cars, as inspired by the movie Gattaca. Thus, the viewer can recognise that they are vehicles, but not ones that he's used to seeing everyday.

Quite clever, in my opinion.

In theory, yes, but in that case they shoud stick to tatras or old Isettas or whatever cars we've never seen ;-) The Hummer, Beatle or Citroen don't quite cut the rarity test - at least for me... Nevertheless, great show and unfortunately only 2 more episodes this season !

The best line yet!
