I was off to the races this past weekend, so had to watch BSG from Tivo last night. Got here and found the thread on page 6 - with nothing new.

Nothing? No comment on the HUB episode?


My wife and I watched and agreed, "Meh."

I am concerned about the reappearance of Elisha, though it's probably just some sort of chamalla flashbacks.

Hopefully Bill and Roz got some private time in the Rapter. That'll take her mind off Elisha.

I thought "HUB" was pretty decent -- setting it up for the mid-season finale in a couple of days...

Hmm - so this mid-season finale is called: "Revelations." We know that the final four will be revealed, but what about...

...the final cylon?
...the way to earth?
... ???

I suspect more than just the four known cylons will be revealed, but whatever revelation will occur, it will be a cliffhanger, and we'll have to wait until the start of the second half of season four in the fall to see where it goes. :grr:

Turns out the preview for "the HUB" episode wasn't a clever edit - it was just meant to be a "shouda seen your face" moment for the president and everyone else who was watching the show. With the music, critical pause and everything. Meh.

Now we just have to see what happens when the two presidents and two admirals get back together...

The previews after the HUB episode showed Tigh telling Bill that he is a Cylon.
It also showed D'anna and Roslin standing beside one another on a planet.


I really doubt they will reveal #5 with half a season to go.


Same for earth - unless they find it but decide Earth is not advanced enough to defend against cylons... yada, yada, 1980's script, yada

I think the scene with Prez & #5 is like the vision they saw in the tomb of Athena on Kobol - it may be just another "map" room.

We'll find out in a day and a half...

Nah... I meant the previews that were shown after the Hub, which would have been previews of Revelations

I'll find out Sunday or next week - when I get around to watching it off of the Tivo. I have plans for Friday and Saturday.

The hub is the entire key to cylon immortality, and one busted up baseship and a handful of fighters can take it out?

That thing would've been defended with the kitchen sink. BSG has really slid in the last season or two. It's a shame. At this point, the end of the series almost can't come soon enough.

The defenses on the hub were built around preventing a human attack. Once the humans had rebel cylons on their side, they had the keys to getting to the hub.

The other cylons believed that the rebel cylons would NEVER want to destroy the hub, and their cooperation with humans was unknown.

This one has still had a better run than the original series, which only had 21 episodes.

What is the significance of the final cylon? I really want to know, but will they have magical powers or something. I figure they will reunite or purge out the evil cylons and bring everyone together to live happily on earth. Except, that might be boring.

We don't know the significance. Supposedly they know where earth is.

But why did all of them end up living with humans? Why did they all end up on Galactica?

Why do the first 7 not know who they are (except for Deanna--who had to learn)?

And the thing that has really been bothering me...why do the humans think earth will be okay to stay at if the cylons are following them there?

Well, I for one did not call that one.

I guess the final cylon figures out how to turn the lights back on or pulls a Jesus and dies for all the previous transgressions.

I thought the final (fifth) cylon would be revealved in this mid-season finale, and they would spend the rest of the 4th season finding earth.

Instead, they find earth, but the final cylon is not revealed.

I just hope the end doesn't turn into a 'save the planet' plea... I don't think that would be Ron D. Moore's way, but I wonder....
