I think they used stand-ins for the final five. The one on the far right looks kind of like Tom Zarek, but none of them look like Gaida, or Starbuck, or any other recognizable character for that matter.

The one second from the right looks like Callie, the Chief's wife.
Now that would be irony. Chief Tirrel having a propensity for falling for Cylons, Callie being the one who shot Boomer, and their baby being another of the new breed.

Second from left could be Anders - or Tom Cruise. I also see maybe some Callie in the second from right. Maybe if she sucked in her cheecks. But that person could almost be a young boyish man as well. The men are so damned clean shaven it makes it difficult. Center cylon has long light brown hair and is clearly very pleased with herself. Dude on the far left is WAY shorter than everyone else. Far right could be Zarek - except Zarek has rougher skin. But clearly no Baltar, Adama, or Roslin.

-Z-man. PS: I must say that listening to his podcasts has allowed me to catch glimpses of what happens behind the scenes. He doesn't hold back, and he gives alot of insight into the show. Good stuff.

Baltar says of #6; she sheltered me from certain destruction..............I owe her my life. I've been saying Baltar died at that moment and that he is a clone of some kind or a Cylon. I'm sticking with these two possibilities as open ended as they are. |

Baltar thinks he's a cylon.
Six wants to be human. Could the nuclear blast have left an inprint of Six on Baltar and vice-versa? Could that only work if they were both Cylon? ... I really hoped the last episode would go into the trial of Baltar, instead it looks like it was filler--although it was nice to see an episode concentrate on Helo. We even know his first name is Carl now. What actor plays Helo? His name isn't in the credits I don't think. He's at risk for getting killed off until his name is in the credits. ![]() I thought the set up for this episode was that two ships were destroyed during the "crossing" so the people needed a place to go. Is that correct? (My wife and I disagreed.) Looks like the next episode doesn't really move the plot forward either...

Did Baltar project into #6's cell in the brig last night? That was kind of weird. Maybe it was 6 projecting onto HIM, but it sure didn't come off that way. . .

"The Woman King" was another good episode. I am glad they got off the whole love-triangle / space opera thing with Apollo/Duala/Starbuck/Anders. Good morality based story. Nice to base an epsiode on Helo aka Karl Agathan (actor: Tehmoh Penikett) His acting is great! I loved the way they protrayed him as a man caught in the middle, and one who is 'unloved' by all in a way that wasn't over-bearing. His frustration of trying to do the right thing, yet always falling short was done very well.

And as Six explained to Baltar in Season 3.0, cylons have the ability to project a world around them - which would explain why she sees "Head Baltar." And that concept of projection would lead some to believe that Baltar is indeed a cylon, seeing that he also has this ability. Personally, I still hold to the belief that Baltar is human. -Z-man. PS: Not sure if these refugees are from the lost ships from "The Crossing" or some other issue. If ships were lost during the crossing, wouldn't that imply that the people aboard those ships were also lost?

Based on earlier episodes, we know that Baltar sees a Six that seems to reflect is (lack of) conscience. Six sees a Baltar that seems to be her conscience.

It'll also be interesting (given the few deaths of the Sagitarons that occurred in last night's episode) to see whether the survivor count gets updated. I think it was 42,401 as of last night. . .

But that wouldn't explain why they were arriving on Galactica again - unless they were temporarily assigned to another ship. And the bottom line for me is - no big deal. I don't get hung up on continuity issues like that... -Z

The shielding on the ships during the cross wasn't high enough to leave people on the regular ships.

I just saw the complete "bonus scene" for "The Woman King" from the official BSG website.
http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/ It gives a critical piece of information and is not really "optional" if you want to keep understanding the series. They should have included it IN FULL in the televised episode. I won't give it away so you gotta go to the website and see it. And regarding "inner Baltar" and "inner Six", I saw an interview with James Callas (Baltar) where he said the actors still don't know who or what the "imaginary" characters are - which obviously makes them difficult to play. He says he plays "inner Baltar" as a pre-invasion version of Baltar - before he became overwhelmed with guilt and self-doubt.

Good Baltar = no beard
Evil Baltar = with beard It's very simple and follows the Star Trek Spock rules.

Okay, am I crazy? At the beginning of the "Woman King" episode, they played scenes shown "previously on Battlestar Galactica" and included scenes where Helo is assigned to handle the civies and Adama wonders if he will be overwhelmed. I don't recall seeing any of this in a previous episode. And this isn't the first time I've viewed a "previously shown" scene and not recognized it. WTF?

Nope, you aint crazy. I had to ask the wife if we missed an episode. They've done that before, but I never noticed it so blatantly before last night.
