Awesome. Predictable (the pegasus part) but goosebump inducing nevertheless ! Worthy of a season finale, but thankfully that is just the beginning ! And we're back in space, I am happy now !

So Casey wasn't a toaster...
In the scene with Tigh and his wife, I was saying under my breath: "And we'll raise rabbits, and live off the fatta the land..." Will Sharon confront Adama about Hera? Is Baltar a Cylon? Seems like the next episode centers around mob justice...

I almost tossed my television out the window when Baltar didn't shoot D'anna at the end.
"Can I hold her?" "No." Bang! Ending credits.

I have to say it, everyone has said it.
Excellent episode! The shots in the atmosphere were even better than the space fighting scenes. When do we get to the next planet?

And the "Two battlestars have just jumped into orbit" annoucement by Sharon was a wonderful twist - that was just the drones the Adama launched - not the Galactica and Pegesus. When Galactica jumps into the atmosphere and launches all the fighers - that was cool. Good thing their FTD drives were working, otherwise, it would have been a short season 3! The final scene of Exodus II shows an interesting division between Starbuck/Tigh and Adama - ie those who led the revolt on New Caprica, and those who came to the rescue. I suspect this week's episode will be similar to "Black Market" when the dark underbelly of the colonies is again brought to light. Still the best show out there these days - and getting better! -Z-man.

** Spoiler Warning **
Listening to the Ron Moore pod cast for Exodus II, and he indicates that they destroyed Pegesus partly because they needed room to build a Cylon Battlestar set for this season... Hmmm..... perhaps Baltar will show up there? Sitting in a elevated captain's chair perhaps?!? With Hera in his arms? (R. Moore calls her Isis as well.... more Hmmmm....) -Z-man.

What's up Skip? I see you bought an SC? Needed a grocery getter? I just bought a 914 for racing.

Some episodes plant seeds, some tie up loose ends in large groups. This latest episode was more of a seed-planter.
What up with Sam and Kara? The biggest thing, IMO, was the president granting a blanket pardon. It was a very bad thing, IMO. People want justice, and in absence of official justice, they will seek there own. Zarek had the right idea...

Ditto on heroes, and this BSG episode was also better than I thought it was going to be, given the previews ! They are not afraid to touch on a lot of things that would not make "regular TV".
I want to see some flashbacks on how Sharon got to be so buddy-buddy with Adama now, and how she seems accepted by the crew, while they were whacking collaborators without a second thought ! Toaster > collaborator, I guess ? Must be because she is hot ;-) |

Could anyone understand what "Athena" said at the end of the last scene of tonight's episode?
Even with TiVo, I can't figure out if she's even speaking english. - Skip

She was quoting scripture of some kind. I wonder if the cylon virus would reach her...
So, sounds like Baltar maybe a special Cylon after all... One of the missing models? Cool plot development ! I think if he truly wonders, he could just shove his hand on one of those computer thingies and see if he can "see the matrix" ;-) |
