What? No White Castle?

First fast-food hamburger chain ever. First industrial-strength spatula. First mass-produced paper hat. First to sell a million hamburgers. First to sell a billion hamburgers. First frozen fast food for sale.

Check out what they do at Princeton...."Annual White Castle® Meat Product Tolerance Competition" http://www.princeton.edu/~puband/white-castle.html

Here is my list of top burgers.

1) In & Out Double Double (No Onion)
2) Fuddruckers (1/3 pound - Swiss cheese)
3) Rubys Burger
4) Carl's Jr Super Star with Cheese (No Onion)
4) Jack in the Crack Ultimate Cheesebruger
5) Whopper with Cheese (No Onion)

To me, onions just don't belong on burgers but to each their own.

Now where is the best "French Fries Poll."

Wow!! Never even heard of half of these joints. Guess I should just quit my job and travel the country in search of the "best burger".

Aaron,

Eating something like that is like getting a blow job with a rubber! Put some fat into your diet and enjoy!

LOL a good analogy. Unfortunately I've been vegetarian for 16 years and have to maintain a gluten-free diet on top of that!

I like In & Out... (wish they'd open more restaurants, though)
It seems to be a favorite among rational people and Bush-haters alike...

Growing up in Hayward, Calif. there used to be a "Val's Burgers" .I don't know if it's still there, but they had great burgers. Otherwise, In-N-Out or Apple Pan on Pico Blvd.
