Didja Ever Notice

That if you put a towel on the head of a Mexican he could pass for an Arab.

And so the corrollary is that if you take the towel off the head of an Arab, he could pass for a Mexican? Hmm...we need to beef up that border security.

Does that mean a shaved down Irishman in a locker room is a little boy?

Do 9 out of 10 Catholic priests prefer shaved down Irish men?

you can't offend if you are one; can you? I R A Redneck (and you can take that several different ways and still be right).

This is part of the reason why we have a real issue with "foreigners" crossing the borders here in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Put a sombero on a Middle Eastern terrorist and from a distance he looks like Pedro.

The Border Patrol has found copies of the Koran in the desert, left by illegals crossing into the border. Doubt that many of the people in Mexico and Central America are Muslim...

While we're on the offensive,

Quick joke:

Q: How many people with A.D.D (Attention deficit disorder) does it take to change a light bulb?

A: Let's ride bikes!

-Z-man.

PS: If someone can come up with a joke that stars with: "There was a Mexican, a Muslim Terrorist, and a person with A.D.D. crossing the border in the dessert..." the above joke would fit here better.

Hmmm...not entirely true. Two weeks ago, I was at Fontana - about thirty miles inland from L.A. - for the NASCAR race. The crowd, while decidedly cliche (I guess) of being redneck, was incredibly well behaved. No fights. No beer or chicken bone throwing as I've been told happens at NASCAR events...

Now contrast that to an L.A. Raiders game (when we had the Raiders), or a Lakers' game (when we had Shaq), and you'll see at least a half-dozen fights in and around the stands.

I had a post a few months ago about going to a NASCAR race and noticed the same thing. Very cordial, well-behaved crowd. I think part of it is there is no such thing as a "home team" in NASCAR. Every driver races every track.
