when I saw it last year it was all together. must have taken it apart to restore or paint. it's all complete as far as I know. owner wasn't around when I went by to take pics. I was told he was asking 25

In what year was electronic fuel injection fist offered as standard equipment on an American production car? And what was that car?
I read the answer on Wiki, and am skeptical of their data - so I am asking you guys.

"The new model had all of the newest technologies of the time, including fully electronic fuel injection (the first car in the U.S. to be so equipped) and all-digital dashboard."

FWIW, I landed there after looking up some info about margarine.
