Have been following this closely. Where are you located these days? I'm 1.5 hrs from Kinston and 3 hrs from VA Beach. If there's anything you need, let me know. Not cool to mess with someone's mom like this. I don't have any lead pipes but I do have a lot of rusty torsion bars. I also think you have the patience of a saint. I'd have already moved back into Mom's house and started playing death metal at volume 11 - just for starters.

If he has a history of frivolous law suits and lost appeals that can be demonstrated, there may be a legal instrument for getting any questionable suit against you dismissed and preventing him from re-filing. One of the lawyers here might be able to clarify this, but I know that I've read about people like this being denied from filing suits.

Thanks DTW.
I normally live in Kinston but have been staying in Va Beach for a couple weeks to help Mom cope. Have to stay on the side of the law for now. I have tried talking to him and he does not respond. All I can do is piss him off which may not be good for Mom. We have a fun weekend planned and will only return to the house each night.

The order for protection route is looking better. You should look into it.

You could slip him a Micky (or whatever they call it these days) then drop him off at a gay bar.

Not that there is anything wrong with that

Mom received a call from the Judge Judy Show and a letter from the Judge Brown show. We believe he contacted both with hopes that we would make him a big tv lawyer. Mom is already embarased at the mistakes she has made and does not want this aired for coworkers and family to see.

That is freaking nuts.

Have you contacted this guys father? Send him a certified letter stating that his son is behaving erratically. Put the onus on the father to deal with it. That letter sure would look bad if his son did something criminal.

One of our entertainers got a call from one these TV Judge shows about a lady who wrote him a bad check. We talked about it as they were will to pay a fee and all expenses and make sure he got his money. After some thought, he decided against it, one, as stated, it would be embarrassing and why should the lady who wrote the bad check be rewarded with a free trip and a chance to rip a celebrity on national TV and get not only paid to do it, but for someone else to pay for what she did

Mom has contacted his Brother or Father, not sure which. He is a lawyer and gave up no info and was not very concerned. Whomever this family member is, he is sending letters every other day. I believe parallegal work.

Friday he was in her den watching tv and I was home in NC temporarily to get my Wife. Mom called me upset that he would not leave the room and refused to return the tv remote he had been holding hostage. I told her I would return as soon as my Wife got off work. After hanging up with Mom I called the Wife and had her get off early. I called the VB Police and had them do a safety check on her.

The three police arrived and told him to give her the remote. Which he did not do. Mom said I have your mail. I will trade you for the remote, which he did after some time. Stating he wanted the mail in his hand. The police told him to take them to his bedroom, which he would not do stating "I don't feel like it and I am tired" in a ten year old winey voice. My Mom escorted the police upstairs and opened his door. They found a half gallon of urine in a milk jug, food and water, dirty clothes everywhere and all the drawers and closts open. Unfortunately there were no weapons visable. They opened the bathroom and were hit with the ongoing stinch. There was feces in the toilet and the place was a wreck. The police were pissed and told him to go flush the toilet and clean the bathroom, which he did not do. They could not make him leave the den so he stayed and they left. Mom turned off the tv with the remote and then he left. The next morning there were dirty dishes and pots and pans every where in the kitchen. He had also left his keys on the counter which ended up in a bowl of pasta sauce. The sauce and dirty dishes were placed outside his door. He spent a whole day searching for the keys before Mom asked if he checked the dishes. I had to return home today so I showed Mom how to unplug the cable tv outside the house until I can return.

Austin, this is going to get uglier before it get's better.. If it were my Mom, I would be truly fearing for her safety..
I could easily paint a picture where my brothers and I came to visit mom and she was being abused,, hence a scuffle ensued and he got a little ruffed up and decided he wanted to move out within 30 seconds.. 4 witnesses and a police report with urine, stench and attitude...
As a minimum I certainly would proceed with the restraining order that would get him out of the house immediately.

This guy is coco for Cocoa Puffs. Get him out (by any means), change the locks and stay away for a couple weeks. Let him sue, you will still be better off.

Does he ever leave, or is he there 24/7?

If I had reached this point, there is no way, no how that this "nutcase" would remain under the same roof as my mom for even one more day . I would resort to WHATEVER means were necessary, but he would be out. Good luck Austin!

Have you checked into having your mother file a restraining order against him. Then the police could arrest him.

Ok - now that is something. Call homeland security or your local terrorist prevention agency. Seriously. Tell them you have a person living in your house that is collecting urine. They will take it from there.

Collecting urine is one means of obtaining substances (amonimum nitrate ?) used for creating bombs. Granted, you need more than just one bottle of pee, but it is a scary thought. He could just be off his meds, or he could be plotting to make things go "boom."

If I were you, I would have Mom leave the house immediately, and get this nutcase out of there ASAP.

Get Mom out of the house first. Be very careful what you do next.

+1 I would think that bizarre behavior by young male toward older female documented by cops should be enough.
