Give it a try, Supe. I wish I hadn't stalled for so long. One unanticipated side-effect is that I expect Tai Chi to significantly help my skiing next winter (assuming there is snow).

just go to any park and follow along. The oldsters will probably take pity on you and help

She is very good. Its funny because there are slight variations in details of hand position, etc from sifu to sifu. The guy I take from is amazing - incredibly smooth with calm power. And totally quiet and unassuming.

Tai Chi is a superb activity, low impact, promotes good balance.

Those 90 yo guys are liable to be laughing at you when you can't stay with them on their moves, in a friendly way. They were at me 15 years ago in GG park in SF anyway

when i worked out in the city part of the act was setting up for moving like the vid female.

Many of the moves were practiced for hours & hours every week outside of class. My routine was 30-40 hrs of pain and suffering. Class is where a clear head was unconsciously achieved.

An easier routine to a clear head is 30-45 minutes consistent lap swimming. I've taught people that routine over the phone.

Some things you can't find in books. You have to suffer to be great.

Might want to read a bit about buddhism.

Your a guy that works with his hands. Understanding 'Quality' (as described by Pirsig in the book Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance) might fill in the gaps on why the world is so jarring and unsatisfactory at times.

Just my 2 pence.
