I love to see them. I don't particularly want one but everyone that's on the road in CA. means cleaner air and downward pressure on the demand side of the oil equation which equals cheaper fuel for me. (And everyone else/good for the economy).

A Prius blew past me the other day, I was doing 75-80 so s/he must've been really booking.
License plate read: "IQ3XMPG". Like I said: smug.

Just to dig up the tenderized DRT equine, there's another hyrid supercar on the market. Uses a 30kW diesel microturbine. Watch out Batmobile.
Capstone CMT-380 electric hybrid supercar with microturbines "0-60mph in 3.9 seconds, has a top speed of 150mph, and a range of up to 500 miles on a single tank of fuel - all with ultra-low exhaust emissions that rival any hybrid on the market today."
