I looked quickly earlier. I'm way too pissed for anything. Lying down and closing my eyes for a bit.

I've had a local offer to trade for a USP45c in stainless, guy can't meet until friday, but I'm thinking I'll go that way...I've got a thing for HK..,

The sig is is an incredibly well made, top of it's class reminder of a psychotic ***** who broke my heart and tried to get me fired.
I'm finally really ****ing mad. A friend from church who's a retired shrink says that's a good thing. I think it's confusing, I'm madder than hell at her, but I'd still take a bullet for her...

I shot 9 and 40 when I was shopping. The ballistic advantages of 40 do not merit the extra cost and recoil. Especially not for making holes in paper.

you may be right. i have heard from more than one police officer that getting up after being shot with a 40SW is much less likely and doing so after being shot with a 9MM. whether this is true or not, i have no idea.

i do like my pistol. it is very accurate. it makes big holes.

I feel like, most people a few hits with 9mm will stop. I also would rather get off more accurate shots with the 9, than less accurate shots with the 40. Doesn't really matter how big it is if you don't connect with the target.

Morning guys,

Job interview was really hard yesterday.
A one hour talk and a test... At least two more talks coming and a full day of testing by an external agency.... With all these talks, testing and knowing that there are other candidates with more relevant experience, I doubt if I'll get the job.
But I won't let it get me down. I'm sending out mails and resumés later today.
I just need to get away from the job I have now...

Glad to hear your dad is better, Glen.

Is this the woman we saw on the picture?
If so, welcome to the club. I think we've all had our hearts stepped on... It had great influence on who I became... (I hope you do better than me )

And Sid gave some good advice. The best way to get over a girl is to get under another. It's a temporary fix though. it helps but eventually you will have to get over her yourself.
And whatever you do, DO NOT let her know/see that you're hurting. Act cool if you see her. If you can't, ignore her and bang a lot of strange until you can.

(disclaimer: I am so fuhked up myself, I really shouldn't be giving you advice. I mean well but it might be a good idea to get a second opinion...)

I don't get the urge to kill/stop someone with one shot.
For 95% of the people a 9 will hurt plenty and make them stop whatever it is they are doing. Nobody shrugs of a 9 like a mosquitobite.
If you point a 9 or a 45 at me, the result will be the same. Heck, even a 22 will scare me.
And like Sid said, if you don't connect with the target, you might as well be shooting peas.

Guys I know the feeling on the having your heart stepped on. I know I'd be miserable, but I'd get back together with her in a heartbeat. And yes, I did break up with her, but only b/c I knew it was what I had to do, not what I wanted to do...

In other news, who wants to help me blow up ATT's twitterfeed?

Glen, just let me know if you need anything. Been there twice with Mom.

Have a book written by a brain physiologist that describes her stroke and recovery and how she wanted to be treated during her recovery from both a personal and professional viewpoint. It's called "Stroke of Insight". Will try to dig it up if you want to read it.

I also have a list of vitamins/supplements that have shown to speed up stroke recovery 46%. Mom's post stroke brain doc liked the vitamin list enough that he made it part of her prescription when she was in rehab.
