Ah, that's right. There were a couple cars in between the two in front and French. Cars that French disposed of as the race went on.

I don't know how long I can keep up this post rate.

We need Dave to post endless pics of guitars.

I am going to the LA Autoshow in a couple weeks. I will be sure to take 40000 photos at least.

Flieger 11-04-2011 06:29 PM

Then post them all here.

I think Morro Bay is nice too. SLO has a lot of nice mountains and rocky outcrops like a miniature Yosemite.

That place was on "The Buried Life"

I would like to live by Laguna Seca. If I hit the lottery maybe I could buy all the property with the noise limit authority and then get rid of the sound booth.

Actually, when I am king of the world I would make Mulholland Highway and all of the Canyon Roads around here free of speed limits. The bad drivers would quickly weed themselves out and take care of the overpopulation problem.

Hmm. What did they do in SLO? Something with sorority girls?

Flieger 11-04-2011 06:36 PM

It was in an episode of "Bull Run" that I was sort of watching one day on Speed chaneel.

Flieger 11-04-2011 06:38 PM

So Sid, share some special stuff about your town or college. Which team should I watch for on Sportscenter?

Yesterday I saw a geophysical survey being done on Los Osos Valley Road. A fault line runs right along the road (below the surface) and is responsible for hills near there.

The "geophysical survey" means they had 4 big trucks each with a hydraulic base they could extend down, then run a shaking machine to send vibrations into the ground to make a SONAR image of the fault.

I could feel the vibrations from where I was about 40 feet away.

They are doing this to learn more about the fault because they have Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power plant in Morro Bay, 12 miles from Cal Poly.
