Mom went to bed and left the new iPad in my care. I'm not sure if she realizes how smart of a decision that was not....

I quite like this thing. I suspect my kindle will be better for reading books, but this isn't too shabby for web. If I didn't already have the laptop I would have to have one of these

I'm just getting a kindle touch. Not the slammed together fire.

The touch is b/w only with limited web browsing.

Then the iPad will be better! :D

If I could only have one reading /web browsing device it would be the iPad hands down. Like I said if I didn't already have my laptop I would have one of these and not the kindle. I just see this as a bit redundant for me. It's great for mom, she's been wanting some type of ereader, and some sort of mobile device for email, web, video etc. She doesnt do any sort of thing in her personal computer that this won't do.
