When my dad gets back in country, I'm going to get him to do some 0g pushovers. I've been wanting to get in the back and get weightless for a number of months now. I just need to borrow a GoPro or 2. :D My own personal, vomit comet.

the first cat one , not quite convinced it's 0g , looks more like a slow motion of a cat toss

OK, here's a landscaping question: I want to place some decorative gravel and rocks in a couple places in my yard. I know the square footage to be covered. But when I go to gravel yards, how do I know how much to order? They sell stuff by the ton (or pound or basket) or some other unusual to me weight/volume. When I ask how much that'll cover, I sometimes get significantly varying answers. "Oh, a ton of those Mexican pebbles will cover about 35 sq ft." or "Oh, about 80 sq ft."

The thing you need to decide on is the depth of your stone. Let's say you want to cover 240 sq. ft of area, with a 3" deep layer of gravel. 3" = 1/4 ft. So, you need 240 x 1/4 = 60 cubic ft. of gravel.

If they sell it by the "yard," they mean cubic yard. A cubic yard is 3 x 3 x3 = 27 cubic ft. So, your 60 cubic feet = 60/27 = 2.22 yards of gravel. You probably need to round it up to the next higher yard, so you'd buy 3 yards of gravel for this example, and spread it on a little thick.

I hope this explanation/example helps you, Noah.
