Okay so what do you do when you have a screwed up truck bed with a working tailgate? You make a outdoor seat out of it. This is a friend of mine who owns a custom chopper shop, not like OCC but true customs.

Morning, boys. Crisp, sunny, winter day here in south of Sweden. Time for the old 3.2 to show her colors. You all know what that means. A ripping 45 mph on the long straights. No holding back. Wooohoo!

They only used Reynaers profiles.
Reynaers makes about the alumuninum profiles (for windows and doors) you can buy.
Also keep in mind that the surface of the frame is a lot less than that of the glass. So K value of the glass pane is more significant than that of the frame.

It will make a BIG difference, in insulation and maintenance.

Got my new seat brackets for the buckets in the truck all fabbed and welded. I have come to the conclusion that I can not weld pretty when I am sober.

Yup. Being a manual trans with a dog leg shifter the middle of the seat is a waste of space. Gonna install a console in between the seats

Ya... We had an '89 with a stick... That middle seat was worthless... Now that 12v motor was killer... The rest of the truck was uhh... Edgy at best.... You could turn the wheel like a whole turn before the wheels moved... It was well used...

Got the car trailer hooked up to the Strawberry beast... Get up in the morning and load the car on the trailer and go do some autocrossing... Now I need to go get ready for the PCA christmas party tonight....

good day gentlemen.
Just back from a run to the border, first load of crap up to the new chalet in sweden, after a 2hr slogfest through christmas shopping at IKEA. One feels slightly more dignant knowing that one is at IKEA for a reason (have a house to fill) rather than using that place for entertainment. a somewhat 'better than though" feeling.

After that we pushed on further into sweden to the closest city where we bought wall and ceiling panelling for 5 rooms as well as wood flooring for 3. the trailer was a little 'tail happy' but we made it back to the house with it still attached to the truck and no casualties.

back home now. day of rest tomorrow and then a 5hr each way trek to a customer up north to do a product knowledge seminar. after that we'll be winding down to christmas!!

I just have a whole house to renovate...
