Historically I have not 'done' hats. So even though my new haircut allows it more, I still did not bring one. I also did not know if it would be too windy for one.

I'm not much of a hat person either, but I learned to appreciate one very quickly.

Flieger 04-21-2012 11:14 PM

Actually, the only hats I have are a stocking cap and a baseball hat.

Huh??????

Man-card material?

Skin cancer sucks, man.

Yeah. It does kind of bother me in the back of my mind.

I think the slang term is "beanie"

Noah930 04-21-2012 11:18 PM

I've always got a baseball cap around. Particularly when I'm sporting helmet head.

Of course, not being a palie caucasian helps, too, in the sun. I don't get tan; I just get more ethnic.

I know where one of these buggers about this size is that needs a new home........think it would scare the hell out of the golfers if I put him in the pond out back??

WTF? Guys can't think girls have cute shoes? I almost told her friend that very thing. "Cute Shoes". If Regan had been wearing them I absolutely would have.

Yeah, the beanie won't do you much good when it's 95 degrees in the high desert.

Chicks dig it when you notice their accessories. I think.

HHI944 04-21-2012 11:20 PM

I won't say **** about noticing shoes affecting one's mancard......my shoe collection is itemized on my renters insurance............

Yeah, it was not much help last time I was there and it was about 55-60 degrees with a windchill of what felt like about 25! I don't have a windbreaker and the wind got through my fleecey Flying Lizard jacket and the beanie I had under my hood (which would not stay up in the wind).

Noah930 04-21-2012 11:21 PM

Though sounds like had Regan been wearing those (driving) mocs, not only would you have commented on them, you would have noted their SFI rating, too.

Noah930 04-21-2012 11:23 PM

Yeah, fleece = not so good in the wind. I found that out on many a midnight watch while sailing in the Caribbean. Fleece + windbreaker.

Flieger 04-21-2012 11:24 PM

These didn't look like driving moccasins. Regan had normal converse sneakers on when I talked to her. She had changed out of her driving shoes.
