Sterling idea :D

It was a hell of a nice piece of steak too.
Burnt it just enough so the outside was caramelized with it just rare on the inside.
Juicy, and melted in your mouth. Mmm ;)

Welp let me go wake Beth, today is her birthday, she is the big 51. Bwahahahahaha we don't think I would be inclined to have any fun with that do we?

Outback Porsche 04-30-2012 03:08 AM

Hey, try this on for size.
At w**k, we have a document call a Workplace Certified Agreement. A legally binding document that details working conditions and renumeration, etc..

Within this document one of the clauses states that telephone line rental and any connection fees will be reimbursed. That's the clause in it's entirety. Pretty simple stuff, hey.

Most people save up their monthly bills and claim a bunch all in one go. This way the 30 odd dollars that you would get monthly from each bill doesn't just disappear into the noise. A practice that's been going on since before I joined this circus (more than 18 years).

Well, someone recently submitted more than 12 months of bills for reimbursement and some poor finance widget complained bitterly to their management, boo hoo.

They went digging through company procedures and policy and came up with a pearler. No more than two months in arrears can be submitted. Bah!

I wrote the joker who released this policy via email today, and told this particular spanner that this policy was overridden by that little legal document I spoke of at the beginning. He wrote back with, but , but ,but, company policy. I wrote back and said, but, but, but, legally binding document.

The spanner's back at work tomorrow (he was interstate today), I bet he makes an appearance in my office. Somehow I think I'm gunna win this one :D

You don't need anything that would make you trip...

Erowid Psilocybin Mushroom Vault : Cluster Headaches Treatment with Psilocybin

oh, and before i forget: It fixes the problem not fight the symptoms... and it does so long lasting :fix it for several months

Interesting concept Stijn, don't think I could bring myself to do it (other than the fact that I wouldn't know what a magic mushie looked like anyway). Prolly wouldn't be able to keep my job if my employer found out I was self medicating in this way ;)

The codeine I was on, was over the counter stuff. Although it was the strongest you could get over the counter. 30mg of codeine phosphate mixed with 1000mg of paracetamol, every 6 hours - goodnight ;)

Outback Porsche 04-30-2012 03:27 AM

HAHAHAHAHA

I've just discovered I've got at least 7 months of phone bills to submit for reimbursement tomorrow :D

GH85Carrera 04-30-2012 05:43 AM

Jeff, that is interesting about your phone bills. In this country we would have to pay income tax on that money. If the company pays for a cell phone you have to prove it is used only for company business or you have to pay income tax on whatever percentage of use is for personal uses.

Good Monday morning folks!

Two aside for tonights dinner, the rest in the freezer for later :)

that's a lot of marbeling for fillet.. Fillet is supposed to be the most tender and lean part of the cow..

I'm not saying it doesn't look tasty , i'm just confused was to how a steak like that could be fillet. If i order fillet from my butcher, i'de expect something like this :

If i were an employer i'de be more worried bout opiates then psylocibin..
The former is highly addictive, the latter , simply not addictive at all.
And the latter potentially fixes the problem rather then simply help you manage the symptoms.

Like i said, you would not have to take so much that it becomes a tripping dose.. hell , the amount required for migraines is so low you would not notice any effects other then lack of headache. And it can't be tested in yer piss either.. If i had migraines, and if it's as bad as people keep telling me.. i would be all over it.
Which kinda makes for a weird thing to note.. People with migraine always tell me how bad it is, but when presented with a potential solution.. nobody picks up on it...

oh well, as long as it's not my headache ...

Porsche-poor 04-30-2012 07:13 AM

morning all. after a godd nights sleep I am much better.

Stijn, that "evidence" is an article from a pro drug site. I would consider that anecdotal evidence. A long way from scientific research. When a drug company extracts the compound and does clinical trials and markets a new cure for migraines it will be every expensive, but real science. And it will make that company billions in profits.

Risking jail for possession of shrooms is not even on my list of things to try. But that is just me, I have never spent one penny on any illegal drug of any sort with the possible exception of buying alcohol when I was under age.

svandamme 04-30-2012 07:53 AM

Well Glen, don't knock the evidence because of that one source, there are others.
And i personally know somebody who hasn't had a single cluster headache since she started eating a couple of shrooms every 4-6 months.

You do realize that Dr Albert Hoffman actually did do scientific research of those kinds of natural products for most of his adult life, right? You do know that he actually discovered LSD, when he was looking for farmaceutical drugs for Sandoz, right? specifically circulatory and respiratory drugs..

So you can call it anecdotal evidence if you want to buy the story that your governement wants you to buy : that psychedelics have no medical use and are highly addictive.. Shedule 1 drugs.. Those are 2 proven lies.. But hey, like i said , i don't have any migraines or cluster headaches... So it's not my problem if the solution to a problem is shunned.

RKDinOKC 04-30-2012 10:12 AM

mmmm red meat, mmmm drugs,

lean and tender don't go together well. A nice marbling is what makes it tender.

If I ate shrooms, would probably just get all paranoid and go off on a bad trip.

svandamme 04-30-2012 11:07 AM

that's not necessarily true... tournedos of a really good cow is pure beef, pure filet.
there should be no marbeling and it will melt in your mouth

The "gotta have fat(which is what marbeling is) to be tender" is just not true for the really good beef.

slodave 04-30-2012 11:30 AM

About 20 minutes until I leave. I'm 110% nervous.

svandamme 04-30-2012 11:34 AM
