Ok, Mike, be well.
See you when you get back.

Rick V 05-15-2012 01:17 AM

Morning Y'all, and Mike, look over your shoulder, I may very well be right behind you

Geronimo '74 05-15-2012 02:21 AM

I've been absent too.
I always loved hanging around here and I miss doing so. But on the other hand, there are plenty things to do out there to.
A little break now and then can be refreshing.

Morning Rick!

Rick V 05-15-2012 02:23 AM

Morning G
Well I am thinking of taking a break because I find I am coming in with both hammers back. Not from this thread but just in general.

You buy the ammo 5.56 in 52-55gr and supply the bail money and court costs and gas money to get there, and I will be more than happy to make your "hood" dark. Remember the scene in Rambo when he was on the roof taking the electric out and making the town dark, same thing only I will only shoot the lights within a 500 yard radius, unless I am really on my game and any beyond that are fair.

Rick V 05-15-2012 03:23 AM

Morning Jim

Rick V 05-15-2012 03:29 AM

Okay Y'all have fun, I am off to ruin someones day. Don't know who's yet but I am sure a candidate for a Darwin award will appear for the offering...................they always do.

Good morning folks.

I did whip my oil cooler lines. The oil cooler is back in place with a nice new fender seal and new flex lines. Getting those lines to thread into place without cross threading is tricky. Working with 36 and a 32 mm open end wrenches makes a 13 mm look like a watch repair tool.

moring all. wow sad to see everyone heading for the hills.

Now I don't have to go to Madame Tussauds anymore. Do you use makeup to look so young as well?

tweezers74 05-15-2012 06:48 AM

David, I know. Why is that? I posed the question to Rick just yesterday. I guess I shield myself pretty well. I just read this thread. Occasionally I will read others. Pop my head over to the tech side just to read. Don't go guys!!! :)

And Glen, sometimes when you guys talk about fixing your cars, it makes me want to be there and hang out. Watch, learn, etc. How come you guys live so far away? :(

I only know about one case for sure but there seems to be a lot missing of late.

Good Glen you are not allowed to bail esp in the picture thread.

GH85Carrera 05-15-2012 07:08 AM

Tweeze, I live only 8.8 miles from work. You are the one that is way off on the left coast.

I am getting my 27 year old 142,000 mile car ready for another many thousand mile vacation drive. Tonight I will replace the transmission oil, and inspect the rear suspension. I will wait until next week to replace the starter. The starter gets heat soaked and then locks up. It takes 15 or 20 minutes for it to cool off enough to start. It is a frustrating problem especially in a 100+ degree parking lot. It works fine in normal conditions.

Porsche-poor 05-15-2012 07:11 AM

off to Rick favv 4 letter word, work. See you at noon.

Jim Richards 05-15-2012 07:12 AM

Hi all. My mind is on next month's trip back to SoCal. Flights are booked and we're coming closer to making some decisions on what projects to do while we're there. The 5-6 week wait until we go is gonna be a drag.
