Gaaaaa!

I am sick of looking at the little hourglass icon. I am trying to make the output file for printing a 5x12 foot print. It takes almost an hour to make the 585 MB PDF file, from the point that I tell it to make export file to completion. Then another hour to RIP the file and print a test strip. Once I get it all ready I have to make 13 prints.

I guess getting paid to wait on a computer is better than a regular job where I would have to wear long pants and a shirt with buttons to work. Yuck. I like my shorts & t-shirt work clothes.

I have spent the entire day putting together the 7.5 GB worth of the background photos.

Yea, well I play on line while waiting for the computer to do it's stuff. That is why I have two computers in from of me. And I still pop over to little projects that only have 1 gb photos.

I just checked the one computer and after 30 minutes it decided it did not have enough memory ao it had a out of memory error. :(

Re-boot, and start again with the same 4 gigs of RAM as before.

fingers crossed. we are having the same issue with a vendoe 3D drawing. its over kill.

It worked. It made me a 558,193KB file!

Next step, make a print 60 sq ft print. We like to call them Bill Gates wallet pictures. Only Bill Gates has a wallet that big.
