nonsense, the Legion happily took in a huge number of former German soldiers after the second World War...
They sent em to French Indochina (or what you guys call 'Nam) to fight the little yellow men in black piyama's...
The Viet Minch even accused the all German French Legion battalion of atrocities...

I had the time to really drive my 911 today for the first time since I refreshed the front suspension. The new rotors met the new brake pads for the first time. I got them together for some hot times. It will still be a while before the brakes are normal.

The front end is over one inch too high right now. I will let gravity help for a month before I drop it more. It should be interesting at the autocross tomorrow. The new torsion bars and turbo-tie rods feel quite different for steering input.

I have 100 gals of diesel sitting right next to the house. I wonder if they would notice it monday when the wife calls in and reports she is out of fuel.

Glen did you do anything with the upper strut mounts? If not I recommend the eurothaine 914 bushings. very nice.

I am keeping things as stock as possible. I go to PCA Parade most years and I want to run stock class. It will be interesting tomorrow. It will be very COLD and my ride height is about one inch to high right now. The brakes are not really bedded in so the brakes suck right now. I will still have fun but I know I will not be fast.

God damn half ass mechanics at Istooks in Dallas! First they left the belts too loose... Now I discover that they didn't get the bolts on that cover on the back of the cam tower tight enough... And they have subsequently fallen out... Well 2 of them anyways... Sooooo now its late at night and the 944 is dead in the water... Have to autocross the VW tomorrow...
