went out to some of the competition rally shops in my town (there's quite a lot of them here).

this one looked like something i could use

lwww.lahoutermotorsport.be

they make custom parts, can alu weld, fix my case... inspect my rods, crank..
machine the ports on my heads... and some other interesting things...

And it's less then a mile from my door, which i find very practical compared to the other shops in germany , or holland...

KIDS IN CHURCH ?..
3-year-old Reese :
'Our Father, Who does art in heaven,
Harold is His name.
Amen.'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A little boy was overheard praying:
'Lord, if you can't make me a better boy, don't worry about it.
I'm having a real good time like I am.'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After the christening of his baby brother in church,
Jason sobbed all the way home in the back seat of the car.
His father asked him three times what was wrong.
Finally, the boy replied,
'That preacher said he wanted us brought up in a Christian home,
And I wanted to stay with you guys.'

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One particular four-year-old prayed,
'And forgive us our trash baskets
As we forgive those who put trash in our baskets.'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A Sunday school teacher asked her children as they
Were on the way to church service,
'And why is it necessary to be quiet in church?'
One bright little girl replied,
'Because people are sleeping.'

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A mother was preparing pancakes for her sons, Kevin 5, and Ryan 3.
The boys began to argue over who would get the first pancake.
Their mother saw the opportunity for a moral lesson.
'If Jesus were sitting here, He would say,
'Let my brother have the first pancake, I can wait.'
Kevin turned to his younger brother and said,
' Ryan , you be Jesus !'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A father was at the beach with his children
When the four-year-old son ran up to him,
Grabbed his hand, and led him to the shore
Where a seagull lay dead in the sand.
'Daddy, what happened to him?' the son asked.
'He died and went to Heaven,' the Dad replied.
The boy thought a moment and then said,
'Did God throw him back down?'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A wife invited some people to dinner.
At the table, she turned to their six-year-old daughter and said,
'Would you like to say the blessing?'
'I wouldn't know what to say,' the girl replied..
'Just say what you hear Mommy say,' the wife answered
The daughter bowed her head and said,
'Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

we had catholic health insurance at home when i grew up, don't think to much of it, it's just a health insurance supplier that's traditionally big in Belgium...
As kids, we could go on ski trips with the group... obviously they sent a chaplain along...
I didn't care one way or another, at 16 , i wanted to sky, party, and try and get some chick to play along...

So it was during Xmas time... and numnuts forces us to mass...
And it's a creative mass too.. Where he want us all to go up to the front of the church, and imagine we are Pontius Pilatus... and we're supposed to come up with a question to ask both Barabas and Jezus.. to decide who get's off the hook.

note, it's x-mas, not easter... so the wrong biblical story
note 2... Historically, Pilatus didn't care one way or another, he crucified folks like we change underpants...

so 20-30 or so of the group go up front, and try and come up with some real questions.
Meanwhile i'm picking a fight with some dillhole from the other group, from another region of Belgium...i'm really bored
Suddenly i'm called to go forward

i don't wanna

Son, everybody goes, now it's your turn.

ok

i walk up front
pick up the mike.

And ask the dry question "is this gonna take long, cause i don't care, how about crucifying them both... ok?"

That was not appreciated by the group leaders, i got kicked out of church, told to wait outside the entrance... which i did...at least, in my perspective, the pub across the streat was outside the entrance... I was well sauced up by the time the others came out ...

They are predicting one inch of ice for OKC. So far it is just sleet & rain but the ice is still coming. We have a good stock of food & beer, all we need is for the electricity to stay on.

When I was in fifth grade my mom enrolled me in a Sunday school class taught by the minister of the church. He was telling us about Adam & Eve and the forbidden fruit. After he was done he asked if anyone had questions.

I was the only kid to raise my hand. I asked him about the talking snake. The talking snake caused all the problems. The only punishment it received was it had to crawl on it's belly from now on. How did it get around before, did it hop on it's tail or float? He did not want to answer that and just shut me up. I told my mom I was not going back to his class.

I still have a bruise from 6 months ago where i got hit with a 9mm cor bon ricochet. It left a bruise the size of a silver dollar and knocked the wind right out of me. It felt like i got punched by a boxer. And that was a ricochet.

Trust me, 9mms have power. In fact, they have more energy than many .45 loads do. High pressure 9mm (offered by several manufacturers) can exceed 500ft-lbs and rival some .357 magnum factory loadings for pure power.

The difference in performance between 9mm, .40S&W, .357 sig/magnum is almost meaningless when using modern ammunition.

DoubleTap 9mm+P Penetration / expansion (all loads use Gold Dot bonded JHP)
115gr. Gold Dot JHP @ 1415fps - 12.00" / .70"

DoubleTap .40 S&W
135gr. Nosler JHP @ 1375fps - 12.10" / .72"

DoubleTap .357 Sig
115gr Gold Dot JHP @ 1550fps - 12.25" / .71"

DoubleTap .357 Magnum
125gr. Gold Dot JHP @ 1600fps - 12.75" / .69"

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-discussions/523289-double-tap-raw-horsepower-spoons.html

See? No difference.

Top .45ACP rounds leave a significantly larger hole, but it comes at the cost of as much as 50% less magazine capacity, higher recoil, and usually greater weapon size/weight.

9mm is clearly the best self defense round on earth when used with modern ammunition, all things considered.

Every single major military on earth uses 9mm as their standard issue sidearm. If it was an ineffective cartridge that would simply not be the case.

Not to argue with ya Snipe, but you can keep the 9, I'll stick to my .45acp. I rack 185gr JHP with some "extra" powder in them. Dad reloads. I am kinda fond of the damage a sub-sonic round will do. I don't like clean holes.
I'll have to dig out my Fox Model B for a photo op

Yea, the sleet is coming down HARD right now. This is gonna suck.

No generator here. Our electricity is underground in this area. In the 12 years we have lived here we have only had two to three times the electricity has been off for more than an hour. I keep looking at the Generac units that run on natural gas.

My dad found a Generac that is like 5.5kw that runs on pump gas and has wheels on it on clearance for 299 at HD a few weeks ago... But we've got a bigger one mounted to one of the trucks if we need it...

Hey bro i used to pack a 1911 Springfield Armory Champion (commander length) with 185gr Remington +P's myself. (over 600fpe of energy and a nice rounded profile designed to feed in weapons made for FMJ- which most 1911's are)

Your choice is -not- a bad choice by any means, but with today's ammo any of the .35-40 caliber rounds (9-10mm) offer essentially identical -and excellent- performance with bullets in the same weight range.

Here's the best performing Double Tap .45 ACP round:

230gr Gold Dot JHP @ 1010fps - 15.25" penetration / .95" expansion

Expanded 9mm gold dot hollowpoint:
