I'm almost never on facebook these days, between them butchering the android app and the fact that the cigar industry is very focused on twitter........

No bra day? I haven't seen too many girls walking around yet today but they are unaware apparently. There's one in the English class that usually dresses kinda slutty so she probably will be observing the holiday, though...

Looks like you had fun dancing, Tweeze.

I still don't think I will ever bother to go to a high school reunion, though...

I am not wearing a bra... but I am working from home today and still wearing my pajamas.

I did have a lot of fun dancing. I went to a club on Friday night and danced too. I am so sore today. I think I burned more calories than on my runs.

I went to my 10 year too. I had a blast. I didn't really want to go to either. Yay fun. Like I said, going when divorced and single can be somewhat intimidating. But there is one thing I learned in MBA school. Networking is a good thing. Being smart is one thing but knowing the right people to get me in front of the right people is another. I am not saying I develop superficial friendships, I truly love meeting new people. I started many of my new loves (surfing, running, cars) that way. But let's just put it this way. I will NEVER eat dinner alone unless I choose to. I have never found it difficult to find a job if I quit one. I will always have someone to call in the middle of the night if I ever run into trouble. I was the quiet wallflower nerd in high school and through my life experiences, I found out that didn't get me very far. So, now, I am the one dancing on the dance floor. The whole time. And having a great time!

I recommend it, Max. I convinced some friends that weren't gonna go to fly in. And they told me by the end of the night that they are so glad they went. I have a couple friends who chose not to go and they look at the pictures and tell me they wished they would have gone. I guess I would rather go and have a horrible time than stay at home and regret the chance that I could have had an awesome time.

I should probably wait a while to reply. I am listening to Wish You Were Here (album) so any reply I give right now will result in a lot of angst...

Not when it is associated with music. There's some dang good music that is full of angst. Or at least it allows it to come out when prompted by some other trigger.

Tweee, I was a shy kid in 4th grade. I had no friends and school was miserable. Summer sucked because I had no buddies to play with. My brother did not want to hang out with me because I was too young to do what he wanted to do.

Since I was always the new kid in school and I was going to a new school where no one knew me as the shy kid I decided to try to not be shy. First day of school I walked up to a group of 5 boys. I said Hi, I am Glen the new kid, can I hang out with you guys? They were not sure but one of the kids started asking what made me think they needed any more friends. I said no one has too many friends. I told them I had lots of adventures when I was living in Hawaii. Most of the boys have never more than a hundred miles from that school.

That year I had a ton of friends. I have never been a shy person since. I can strike up a conversation with anyone. I simply made a descision that shy was stupid and boring. I was right.

Heavy rain and bald tires made for a rather interesting drive home. Broad side Boxster on more than a few occasions

I think for me it's just tied in with girls. If I don't see happy couples around I really am just fine being alone. I never feel lacking for guy friends, which are not hard for me to make within the ME department.

I love the peace and quiet of a bike ride or hike in the mountains. Just me, under the trees listening to the birds and the wind.
