Still fighting w the Win 7 box. Everytime I reboot it forgets where out network is. After several minutes it will find it. That is annoying.

I just installed Virtual XP. Now for sure I can run some of the antique programs we have to keep around to be able to open customer files and make the files some customers want.

Right now XP is updating. 98 files! and more to come I am sure.

Is that a record?

It is not the mental image I have of Wa state.

I think it it is. They keep making a big deal out of it on the news at night. The funny part is that normally by now they are talking about what kind of winter we will have. Not this year not a peep.

Nerd update. I installed Virtual XP on my new computer. Then I installed AutoCAD 2000i and it runs just fine. Now when I need it once every other month I can run it.

That Virtual XP is a trip. It is a full blown XP machine. I had to download over 100 updates, and install the Microsoft Security essentials anti-virus. We are not going to use up a seat of the real anti-virus we use. I figure the few times I need to hit the internet with the Virtual XP I don't want it infected.
