Well, with pelican down again for a few, I finished my club project. Last night I cleaned off the old grips, some nasty labels, and polished the shafts. Today I installed new grips.
 Most people use a vise, with that rubber thing to protect the club. Well I don't have a vice, so I improvised with a ratchet strap and my balcony rail....  All done.... |

Whew, I had a long busy day. The autocross was cold but dry. That is the good news. The bad news is the timing equipment died and was NFG. We just made it a full day of fun runs. 8 laps or more for everyone. I got home just in time to mow the back yard. As I was mowing as the rain came in. I was mowing the yard in a jacket and I could see my breath!

The hip did great. No pain and just sore muscles from all the activity. Not enough pain for even an aspirin. Just a tired geezer. The autocross chairman had to leave early. I had to stay to the end and haul home 5 helmets 5 radios and a couple of flags.

Its not to bad with the garage door down. You can really hear it standing right in front of the door.

As a kid we went to visit some family friends. They were a a family with money. They said my brother and I could go upstairs and open the door on the top left. When we opened the door it was LOUD. They had a sound proof room built up there for the kids band. I know almost nothing about the equipment needed but it was a room set up for a band to practice.

I usually use my headphones when I play but I also don't play on a band so it is different
