Fortunately this arvo I had my monthly maintenance visit with the bone cracker. He's realigned the planets to some degree. Feeling much better.

Good Monday morning folks.

We know it is for sure cold outside at the Carrera household. We have a red female Dachshund named Zoey. She always wants to go in the backyead when I go out there. Even when she has just come back in through the doggie door. She acts like I keep a secret stash of dog food out there.

Anyway this morning she had no interest in the back yard because it was COLD outside. We call the "below Z" when she wants to stay in her warm bed. I don't know the exact temperature but it must be about freezing point.

We had the first hard freeze of the year so mid 20s or so for the low.

I just want all forms of frozen dihydrogen monoxide stay up in the mountains where it belongs. That stuff is deadly, especially when frozen!

We are bidding on a job as a sub-sub contractor. The final customer must be a government agency. They want a copy of our safety plan and our safety meeting schedule and procedures. They want to know what type of eye protection & skin protection employees wear while working on the job. The crazy bid proposal went for over 50 pages of stupid questions. All of this is for a flight over a road project that is a public highway that hundreds of airplanes fly over every day.

I guess when I get to my part of the job I will have to wear my sunglasses and sunscreen and a athletic cup while sitting in my windowless office sitting in front of my computer.

i'd much prefer it to stay in the 80's at my house and snow all it wants up in the mountains. i hate winter. i hate being cold. but, if this is where i am, i might as well snowboard. besides, it is one of the few things i am passably good at. :D

GH85Carrera 11-12-2012 01:47 PM

Nope and no sun block. I have to go to the front door to see if it is sunny or cloudy.

I do have a cup for coffee!

nynor 11-12-2012 02:03 PM
