Glen, good to hear about your father. Nurses are a good thing. :)
Azzy, I don't eat the regular peeps. I eat the chocolate covered ones. Delish! Marshmallows are one of my favorite foods. I have one of those chocolate fountains and I love love love dipping the marshmallows and strawberries in there. Yum! |

thanks Glen, its from years of working with all guys, the military does that to you. when I joined up all those years ago we hardly had any females, ..........well real ones! Now in our Air Force (Australian) the women are over 40-50% of the numbers in some musterings (jobs), and make up about 20 percent of the total numbers.

Hi Azzy,
Christmas cake looks good. Mum baked one for us before she left last month - drowned in scotch too. Got it fermenting. It should nearly be done by now. |

I like this recipe;
1 cup of water 1 tsp baking soda 1 cup of sugar 1 tsp salt 1 cup of brown sugar lemon juice 4 large eggs nuts 2 cups of dried fruit 1 bottle Johnnie Walker whisky Sample the Johnnie Walker to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the whisky again. To be sure it is the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. Make sure the whisky is still OK. Try another cup. Turn off the mixerer. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the whisky to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Who cares. Check the whisky. Now sift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or something. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven and put in the fridge. Turn the cake tin 350 defrees. Don't forget to beat off the turner. Throw the bowl through the window. Check the whisky again and go to bed. |
very funny, I started with a litre bottle of scotch, and ended up with a half a bottle, I kept telling the Hubby that it was all in the cakes, but I did sniff quite a bit!!

Glen, glad to hear the pops is doin well.
The rep for my pixie dust has been hanging at the heart hospital, I've been wondering if the are using this stuff or something else over there. If I see her again I'll ask. Got released from home care last Friday. 'cause I can change the bandages myself. They did leave me LOTs of bandages. My insurance pays for them if home care brings them, but not if I get them from the drug store. Guess that's some of the Obama stuff. Insurance only pays for things you can't get without a prescription. |
i am in hour four, at least, of the french mobster movie i am watching. LOL!
|
I am kinda tired. Getting up at 4:05 AM makes for a long day. Night folks.

Woohoo only worked 15hrs today. Drinking hot apple cider spiked with naked turtle rum and smoking a Fuente Chateau Fuente.
Really starting to make a go of the blog. I've got another sample coming in for pre-release review. This one is wickedly limited....100 boxes of 20 Gonna start working with another guy in Savannah to get a cigar fest going as well. Between the two of us we know every brand rep and a good chunk of the big players in the industry. |
