Only once a year if I'm lucky, usually twice.

Porsche-poor 02-07-2013 11:20 AM

zzzzzzz

Nap time!

I hate stupid paperwork!

We are bidding on a simple oblique photography job. Pictures out the window to show the progress of a construction site. Easy stuff. The ultimate final customer is the federal government. That means stupid paperwork. The contractor we are dealing with wants our company car insurance, and a copy of our professional insurance. Professional insurance of a picture taken out the window? Gimme a break.

Porsche-poor 02-07-2013 12:47 PM

you woke me up from my nap to rant about the government? Geeeze!

LOL. have fun with that.

Jim Richards 02-07-2013 12:50 PM

Oy!

GH85Carrera 02-07-2013 12:54 PM

They want a copy of our fire safety program. Our fire safety program is complex and involved.

We yell "FIRE get the fck out" Let the fire department fight the fire. They want a list of protective equipment we will use when on their site. That one is easy, none we are never ever on their site.

Porsche-poor 02-07-2013 01:02 PM

do what we do list and state the following:

All as a minimum ,hard hat, steel toed boots, safety glasses & hearing protection.
We will review your sites specific safety requirements and supply our team members the required PPE for the areas we will be entering.

That was somewhat funny. I had three people ask me what my retainer fee was. Most people dressed like slobs. Some of the women looked like street walkers

Porsche-poor 02-07-2013 01:18 PM

you should have told them "same as all the other shops. when do you need the tune up" just to watch their face.

Rick V 02-07-2013 01:19 PM

I just told them they couldn't afford me

Porsche-poor 02-07-2013 01:20 PM

You guys underestimate me a tad.....The tach did not bounce so I changed the speed sensor and it bounced..the DME was replaced.
Speed sensor only? What about the ref sensor? If one's out, good chance the other is cactus too. The ref sensor tells the DME when it's at TDC.

Rick V 02-07-2013 01:22 PM

Okay cheap street walkers with an inbred country flavor
