I refuse to grow up. You are never too old to have a happy childhood! That has been my motto since I was a child.

Janet, get your 944 fixed so you can learn to drive it fast! ;)

As I mentioned the guy with the new 911 was totally stoked to run the autocross. He had never driven at any speed event and was having fun. He got to be pretty fast buy his last lap. It was a fun layout.

Evening Y'all.
Well got the engine home and I have some major work to do. This is a fly by wire engine so there is going to be obstacles.
It gets ripped apart this weekend to see what failed and if it is worth going through.

Probably one of those wires that flies it!

Rick V 02-12-2013 03:52 PM

That would be so simple I only wish.

Evening!

...I really want a beer.

Porsche-poor 02-12-2013 04:02 PM

Shall we start a pool on how many extra parts he has when done?

Exactly.... Its not about being able to drive a stick...Its about being able to finesse the gas and brakes for maximum speed. Its about being able to find the fastest line around a corner or an obstacle, and getting right to the edge of traction, but not going over that point and loosing control.

I've run at the drag strip before but, haven't been on a course. I can't wait.

That is a bad bet, trust me

Bugger me! My fingers are dyslexic today.

I can sort of touch-type (thanks to the high school I went to), not quite enough that I don't look down every now and then. I'm typing away and as I'm reading it, the letters are all there but most of them a fcuked up and about.

Maybe I need another coffee?

I was thinking more in terms of parts that are not needed to make it run. Not that you have parts on the bench and an engine thats not running. Nope thats my trick.

Evening Janet, Rick, David, Glen, Sid, D, G, and anyone else whose out there this evening.

Lovely sunny day in SoMD, went brunching with the ladies today, took Marilyn out as it was sunny, her brake light was staying on, so checked brake fluid and it was low, so that was an easy fix, no light on now. Now only have to watch to see if it drops quickly, and will need to find leak if it does. There is no sign on the garage floor, only the few seeps under the engine (its a Porsche), would love them fixed one day, but no rush eh!

Walking Dead started again, so teenager is all excited, and hate to say it, I like it as well! Blood thirsty as all hell, but good to watch.

azzarule 02-12-2013 04:40 PM

Bit early here Jeff, but I am sure they don't care!
