My boys still sleep with me still. Ever since the ex moved out, we all gravitated to my king bed. We really don't notice each other except for our cuddling at the beginning. Then my four year old moves to the foot of the bed and my seven year old moves to one side and me on the other. They have beds. Just don't sleep in them.

Last year (when she was in pre-K) my daughter circulated a sign-up sheet in her classroom for an after-school dance class. A local dance studio offered a free first-time class. So my daughter decided to take advantage of it and make it a group event with her friends. Sure enough, she brought home a sheet of paper with 5 or 6 different girls' names on it (written in 5 or 6 different styles of penmanship). I guess she thought there weren't enough things to do at school.

Wow she is really smart, must take after you!!!

Kids can be so funny to deal with, I love it. But I must say I did prefer when they were under 10!!

When I was 6 I helped Mom bake and ice the cake, I seem to remember it being shaped like a cat cause when I was 6 I was ate up with the cartoon character Top Cat. We always made party favors out of marshmallows, life savers, gum, rubber bands, tooth picks and food coloring. One year it was life saver airplanes with Juicy Fruit sticks of gum for the wings. That year the cake was an airport with an airplane made of Hersey bars. After getting everything ready for the party I would go around the neighborhood and invite everyone to my birthday party. Mom says she did it that way so none of the parents felt pressured to get any gifts. Us kids had a blast. We did the neighborhood surprise party thing from when I was 3 until I was 9. Then it was just not cool any more.

Wow, your mom sounds so cool!! Those candy favors sound awesome!

And Noah, your girl sounds really smart. The smart ones scare me. They can figure out how to do stuff without getting caught. I know this from experience.

So, if drifting like Ken Block is slower, why do people keep trying to do it. I mean, I understand the difference in World Rally driving where the road surface is dirt or gravel, but when they are on pavement like asphalt or concrete isn't it actually slower?

I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for getting back into driving the 928 in anger. The last autocross I participated in had a 180 turn around a single cone with barely enough room to turn the car. It was faster to do a ebrake turn in that situation to rotate the car quicker in the smaller area, but on pavement where the turns are bigger isn't a 7 to 15 degree drift the fastest?

I was prety proud of this one tonight - the curry double. I made some Spiced Lamb (gulai kambing) and Pumpkin & Zucchini with Tomato and Spices. Two things I've never cooked before. Bloody good job, if I don't say so myself.

I still can't walk very far and not without crutches or my walker to keep weight off my right foot. But, I've been driving the Rover with my left foot for both gas and brake. It's been a little challenging to keep my left foot from being lazy and try not to move back and forth from the gas to brake and visa versa. I'm thinking if I can get rid of my left foot's lazy habits I might be able to learn the left foot braking dance. Where you brake with the left foot, and move it to the clutch to shift at the same time moving the right foot to heel and toe the brake/gas, then moving back to left foot brake, right foot gas when clutch work is done.

Had grilled Talapia with Mango Salsa, plantains, and Yucca fries from my favorite Latin grill for dinner. And it was good.

Still can't stand long enough to cook a meal. About all I can do is put stuff in the oven to heat, go sit down with my foot up and hope I don't fall asleep and burn it.
