FWD or RWD (or AWD), lift is lift. So by pushing the car down to the ground (or by reducing lift at the very least), it increases the force of traction the tires can "generate" going around a corner.

Of course, you want it to be balanced, front to rear, as well. So the look of a huge rear combat wing (like on the original WRX STis) without anything on the front is a bit ridiculous from an engineering perspective.

I was thinking that pushing down on the reat would raise the front off creating sterring issues. Probably not the case a school parking lot speeds but stupid looking any way you look at it.

Morning

I have no voice, humanity will be thrilled.

Don't know about all of humanity necessarily being thrilled, but at least your husband.
yep, he's already rejoiced in that fun fact

This made me snort laugh but I know what you are talking about. I was pre-med in college like every other nerd living in the honors dorm, but many of my friends from those days that are docs now say I should have stayed in the program and aim for surgery. I laughed but they said that women with slender hands (I have long skinny fingers) are good surgeon material. True, Noah? I think that may one day become a moot point with robotic surgery coming into light. Which, is the coolest thing ever!

When I had my boxster S I wanted one of those what I call big ol shopping cart handle wings on it. Not for aero, but for looks. Having more downforce in the back is so much better than not having enough, as in lose control of the car even when going straight just because you lifted off the throttle.

Trying to stay out of the advantages of smaller body parts discussion.

Not all parts should be judged by the same criteria.

If the erection lasts for longer than 4 hours, call your doctor. No pics, please.

For some reason I just don't think it's very romantic to ask someone to take their pill.

I guess it would depend on the pill and/or the anticipated outcome.

life is too short not to have a good laugh every day, and this thread helps me to do that!

The mental pictures that I get from the comments on the Stijn thread, just make me laugh.

Trust me Azzie, it wasnt a blue pill. I'm hyper-focused at the moment. And not in that way.
