It is always nice when someone likes your car.

I've had several occasions where I've had to take the mechanic for a ride to show him the problem he couldn't bring himself to push hard enough to replicate.

One such ride I was showing him how the whole car would shut off and come back on while in a high G turn. When it happens the balance gets upset and the car moves towards the outside of the turn about a foot. Very unnerving. He correctly diagnosed the ground strap on the engine being to taught, but swore he would never ride we me again.

I've been enjoying the heck out of running errands. Enjoying the driving the GTS experience more than being able to walk again.

Went to the grocery store last night for the first time in 11 months. Spent over $200, there were only 8 things on my list and I wasn't even hungry.

Didn't even mind going to two doctor's appointments. The parking valets put my car on the sidewalk next to their valet stand so they could keep an eye on it. I've had them do that before when I had the BoxsterS.

So the car is running okay, after such a long rest, I know you had it serviced, but no other problems from sitting so long?

Evening/Afternoon

Another Territory Day come and gone. The street had that napalm smell about it this morning. Hugo went to come outside with me this morning as I was leaving for work, BOOM!. Wtf 7:00am and some knobhead is still at it. He high-tailed it back to Sharyn and the comfort of the fart sack.

There will be random BOOMs for the next couple of weeks.

The GTS seems to be running great with no issues yet. The main thing the shop did was change all the fluids.

No steaks. But did get 2 pies. Expensive stuff was Ensure for Mom and Beggin Strips for Camber. Got myself some 73% ground beef, serano peppers and onions for grillin burgers and makin chili. I like to chop up the onions and peppers and mix em in the burger before grillin or add some rotel and chili powder and make some skillet chili.

Yep. Rotel = maters and green chills in a can. Grew up mixin a can o Rotel and melted Velveta cheese to make Queso. Put rotel stead of maters in meat loaf for a little zip. It's very mild pepper wise.

73%!?! You'll cook most of that off and strain it out as grease! Go for the 91% lean stuff. Way better to cook and eat....
