t;s the name of a company that makes solid stomp boxes. I am amazed that that thing I sent him is still going.

liked that video Rick, John Hiatt was really nice to listen to.

Have had some beautiful thunderstorms tonight, very spectacular, and it is just about to start again.

I know 3 people that own Jags. They are all early to mid 80's 4 doors with the 12 cylinder.

One never drives it except to wash it and put it back in the garage.

Another got one for his wife after her 944 got totaled. Then after finding a really good mechanic (not the local dealer) he got her a convertible and another that matched the first one so his twins would have matching cars. Hint: money is not object to him.

Lastly the guy that has 6. He does all the work himself and only has one running at any given time.

As with any classic and or sports car, it's really all about knowing or being a good mechanic or having deep pockets.

So my dad's friend/coworker gave me a tablet computer that he had bought for a new business scheme he had that didn't work out. Anyway, my dad had asked months ago if I had wanted a smart phone and I said no. But this was free so he accepted it on my behalf anyway.

Says Nexus and Asus on it. Has google products loaded. Haven't played with it yet. Any cool features I should know about or is it basically a laptop?

But are there any cool things that a tablet can do that a laptop can't that I should know about? How do you get programs on it- you have to go to an "app" store I suppose?

Can I run stuff like Word, Excel, etc. on it?
