Still have a pair of Justins I bought when I visited Texas back in the mid 90's...

Got back last night from a 3 day fossicking trip. Found a few Redistone sapphires, a bunch of zircon and Tourmaline. Nothing of any great value but lots of fun nonetheless.

One of the creeks we were digging.

Nope, it is October. That does not rhyme. ;)

Woohoo! Booked a cruise for me and the Tojo.

SteamWolf, nice looking spot. Where abouts? We used to do similar up around Dargo, but panning for gold.

How's it hanging?

Rick V 10-08-2013 04:40 AM

To the left.
I am actually not in a good mood and taking it out on some intended targets via email.
Seems that the government being shut down and the pending debt ceiling issue has realtors scared.
I have one guy who I contacted but he seems to have forgotten that he would be working for me, so I just fired him before I hired him.
I was contacted by another one who is more or less an ambulance chasing type who is trying to snake the listing from the guy I just fired. Now I like the gopher it attitude but she needs to be gang banged by a group of horse hung neanderthal sex fiends.
I am waiting to be contacted by a coworker of my guy out left (that was for you David) but they are slow out of the gate.
Rickie don't like to wait, Rickie don't like to drag his feet and Rickie is on a mission. These people better step up or step off

Morning everyone.

I have found that all real estate agents are slow and laid back. They don't realize people like Rick and myself have no patients for people like this. It's that $hit or get the heck off the pot and out of my way personality. I was getting, so impatient with my real estate agent that I started making the phone calls she should have been to the point where the lending office thought I was the agent and she was the client.

Morning Andy and we are called aggressive. :)

GH85Carrera 10-08-2013 05:16 AM

Good morning folks.

Rick this is for you. You will miss out on all of this fun after you move:

Yes, I have been called aggressive, hypertensive, ADHD, and much more. I think a-hole flies at me a lot. I have been told by several contractors that come into the chemical plant, that I do not need coffee....lol. I just can never sit still, there is always something to be done or learned.

Outback Porsche 10-08-2013 05:25 AM

Morning Andy, Glen.

Very unusual for a realtor to not be aggressive.

Been organising flights for Sharyn so she can meet me at each end of the cruise - she doesn't do boats :(

Rick V 10-08-2013 05:30 AM

That was great Glen, thank you I really needed the laugh.
Back a few years ago when we were getting snow by the feet Dad had gotten stuck in NOVA at his GF's place and was there for a few days. He called me and asked if I would take Peggy over to his place and bust through the snow plow drift that was at the end of the driveway. Sure Pop, not a problem. Well Beth decides to ride with me since she was house bound for days....... can you already see where this is going?
We get to dads and due to the layout of his driveway in relation to the road I can't hit the pile with any speed so I crawl onto the, now frozen over four foot high man made snow drift. Yup I high sided and sat there on the frame. So I resort to redneck attitude, if I can move one inch I am not stuck and start rocking Peggy back and fourth. Beth looks over and asks me if I would like for her to get out and push..................
I stopped the truck, looked at her and asked her to repeat what she just said, along with the "I really don't believe you are that blonde" look.
Soooooooooooooooooo she asked again if I would like for her to help by pushing since we are, in her mind, stuck.
Okay let me break this down for you Honey.........................5,600lb truck sitting on top of an ice block by the frame, sure I would love for you to get out and push.
I should have let her.
I will not miss winter one little bit

Rick V 10-08-2013 05:33 AM

Jeff, are you telling me that the wife unit will not get on a boat that she can jump from and swim away from but will get into a plane where she has no options?

Outback Porsche 10-08-2013 05:36 AM

For a minute there I thought we were gunna have a 'Noooo Rick, Nooooooooooooooooo' moment :)
