We are often our own worst enemy and more often than not, the internal quarrels are far more destructive than external.

The pump on our Koi pond died. An exact replacement would be 500 bucks. I only wanted the same one because the plumbing would just bolt up. I looked around and found a different 5,000 GPH pump but of course the entire plumbing in the pump box all has the just start over. I found a new pump for only 300 bucks and started the plumbing project. It sure is fund to lay on your stomach and fit 1.5 inch PVC connections in a tight box. What a pain.
