I used the mylar/cloth hinges you just slit the wood with exacto, slip em in half way, thin superglue, slide the control surface on, and superglue that side. Also sealed the gap with Monocote to prevent flutter.

Watching the news - bush fires in NSW near an airforce base I used to spend a bit of time at. I've got lots of friends from my airforce days in the area. I'm in contact with a few and they're okay (for now). Hoping the others are alright.

From a post the other day, it sounds like SteamWolf is in the effected are too. Hope all is okay mate.

Yep. Spring has pretty much been and gone, although today was nice at 31C. Sharyn and I were just talking this evening about filling the spa this weekend.
