Can't be as bad as:

My BIL is in process of buying a "condo" (1200sf) in S. Boston, north of $600k, with his girlfriend...

If anyone needs a hit for being stupid...

Our condo is just under 1000 sq ft and was more pricey than that. Yeah, I'm stupid.

I am mostly referring to the "with the girlfriend" part but yeh, 1000sf wouldn't cut it for me.

375 in W CT got the Saucy's 2700sf, 2 car, and 3 acres (yes,we stole it, but also sunk $100k into reno) That will have its own thread.

1000 sq ft for the house is plenty for me but the garage would have to be a 6 bay 14 ft ceiling. Mrs Carrera would not want a tiny house and with the antiques we have we need more space. We have a compromise house now. The master bedroom closet is silly big. It would be a good place to park an original 904 or a Gumund Coupe.

We're moving on up to the big time in SoCal. 1600 sq ft, 2 car garage and postage stamp size lot. Almost perfect for a pair of retires...just need one more garage bay and taller ceilings.

1700 sqft 2car seemed about right with Mom, Bro, and I. Now with just me, it seems silly big. Heck even the fridge seems way too big. If garage fit a lift, would just cause more problems than it would help.

We are under a flash flood emergency. So far we have had 1/100th of an inch. I am not too worried. There is rain coming but I live on a hill so I am not concerned.

Stijn!!

This is my favorite.

If it has space for that huge SUV the Porsche will have lots more space for each car. Maybe one or two lifts.

We have the youngest grandson tonight, and a couple of the kitties are not thrilled. They are just upset that he won't share his food.

All the storms moved through and the sun is out. We got just under an inch total and no floods around here. Is parts of Norman and Moore there is some minor flooding. I hope the lakes get full soon. They have to be filling up fast.

Mmmmm coffee

Morning ladies and gents

Another cold morning, 'bout 4C. We've had a few in a row now and it's started to take the stored warmth outta the bricks. The mornings inside the house are getting a little nipply.

Okay so Beth wants a drink, a Sobe GreenTea and of course we don't have any, so being the most excellent husband I am, I go get her one. I am the only idiot that I know that will drive a 9 ton truck two miles to get a drink.
All the local small penis syndrome boys with the jacked up yota's were in the parking lot, yeah I got some looks.

Those car enthusiast floor plans are messed up. There are no closets, no storage, AND, there is no reason to have the kitchen, audio visual, and Bedroom walled off from the cars. Needs to be a more open floor plan. Ideally since the ceiling needs to be high enough for at least one lift, the kitchen, dinning, master bed, master bath, etc should be on a 2nd floor with it open to overlooking the cars below. The only walls below would be storage room for car parts and a bathroom. That's the way those car condos are in those car enthusiast neighborhoods.
