Good smells coming from my barbie. Plonked a leg of lamb (marinated in garlic and rosemary) in it about an hour ago. Sitting back with a James Squires amber ale and having the smells waft over me.

Morning Rick

I think a sharpie = permanent marker, yes?

The son's ink is permanent but the colour applied is washable.

Okay not that anybody here really cares but after reviewing all the data, personal experience and dropping the "Tim the Toolman Taylor" bravado, taking into account the actual use and cost incurred I am going to opt for a 7mm RemMag for my 1K tool.

a 7MM magnum will get the job done. a .338LM will get the job done at 2.2 kilometers.

Yeah but with the 7 I don't need to worry about the rotation of the earth in relation to the direction I am aiming. That is just a bit too much math for a bullseye
