I'm not going to touch that one. :D

We just left the RV show and have a pretty good idea of what we like / don't like. Since we still have a while before we retire, we'll need to do a few short trips with a rental RV to see if we really like living in a glorified van.

My parents had a nice trailer for a few years... They came the conclusion that for the occasional trip, a hotel is cheaper and nicer

Yea, I know two folks that gave up owning a RV a just rented one twice a year. It was way cheaper for them.

I imagine the trick is to own one during that period of time when depreciation slows down.

I took the 888 out for a spin to my office and back this morning. Haven't ridden it in about 3 months. It's a total hoot to ride. Man I miss that bike. I should ride it more often.
