its not the boost... that is fun, actually.

the front end just doesn't behave the same as the '83. also, it seemed like the '83 had more traction. i think it had a limited slip diff, so it would just climb snow/icy hills. no joke, i'd pass AWD SUV's and crossovers, that didn't have snow tires, going uphill, all the time.

What's with this head cold? Why do all my teeth hurt? And why at the roots?

RKDinOKC 12-20-2013 03:09 AM

Well, if you are like most people, your teeth ARE in your head.

Outback Porsche 12-20-2013 03:15 AM

I've never had a head cold where the roots of my teeth hurt before. :(

It's bad enough having your sinuses wanting to explode without your teeth hurting too.

What's next, a dose of lovers balls just to make things interesting?

Outback Porsche 12-20-2013 05:12 AM

Morning Y'all

With serious pressure in your sinus it puts pressure on the nerves on the palette of your mouth and the teeth. If you have a sinus infection go see a Doctor. You will need some antibiotics to cure the sinus infection. The doc can determine if indeed you have an infection or just a stuffed up head.

It is NOT something to just ignore. That infection is right next to your brain. Just a few membranes are keeping your brain infection free. A bad sinus infection can breach the membranes and get into yer noggin. That is a very bad thing.

If your snot is green or yellow go see a doc ASAP. If it is clear you are just snotty headed.

Good Friday morning folks.

Cheers Glen.

It's pretty much just a snotty head - hardly any colour, just lots of pressure.

GH85Carrera 12-20-2013 05:38 AM

That is a good thing!

You just need a good dose of hot Mexican food and some cold beer. Consider that a prescription!

Outback Porsche 12-20-2013 05:41 AM

Sharyn's feeding me Wild Turkey American Honey. Will that work just as well?

GH85Carrera 12-20-2013 05:55 AM

Well you need something to open your sinuses. Jalapenos, habaneros and such will open things right up. Wash down with the beverage of choice.

I have no idea what Wild Turkey American Honey is. Is that a type of Wild Turkey Bourbon? If so that will open you head especially of you snort some.

I only drink beer. I bet I have not had hard liquor in this millennium.

RKDinOKC 12-20-2013 05:59 AM

Douche your head!

Warm up a glass of filtered or distilled water, add two pinches of salt, and a 1/2 cap full of vinegar (douche). Use a neti pot to run it through your nose. Instead of a neti pot I have a big syringe cause it is much easier. Tilt head sideways and gently run douche into upper nostril. I snort it while doing this. Then blow nose. Repeat until nothing comes out except the douche. Do the other nostril. Burns if you put in too much salt or vinegar.

Does wonders. Vinegar cuts and removes snot and salt reduces inflammation and toughens up the mucus membranes to remove swelling.

Does wonders to clean out, remove pressure, and heal much quicker.

Just substitute the Bourbon for the water and it will really clean things out.

American Honey - Yep, Bourbon product from Wild Turkey. It's making my throat numb and I can't feel my sore teeth. :D

Chilies, righto, I've got them up the wahzoo.

So, my nose will dribble like a sailors dick and my arse will be inflicted with the pain from a ring of fire.

I've got it now, inflict pain and suffering on other parts of the body so I forget about the head cold.

:D:D:D

It sounds like this will work but I'm not sure If I'm game enough to attempt to drown myself. :D

For sore throat and that achey feeling warm up some chicken broth, add tablespoon of garlic powder, and teaspoon of red pepper. Sip. If you lose your voice this will get it back within 10 minutes.

Also French bread slices warmed with copious amounts of butter, garlic powder and a sprinkling of red pepper. A slice of mozzarella cheese helps if it is too garlicy.

Also popcorn, again extra melted butter on it and garlic salt and red pepper.

Also like ham and pineapple pizza with red pepper on it.

Idea is to ingest as much garlic salt and red pepper as possible.

Red pepper is the highest natural concentration of vitamin C. The vitamin C changes the PH to make it difficult for the virus to replicate. The fat in the butter and or chicken soup help the red pepper stick to the inflamed area. Garlic powder (not fresh garlic) works as an antiseptic to kill germs. Something in chicken broth helps the white blood cells concentrate where the infection is. That achey feeling is actually your white blood cells looking for the infection.

Ingesting alcohol in any form makes me get sicker. It makes me relax and fall asleep, then wake up with whatever was in my head spreading to my chest.
