I agree with both to a certain extent. The first, some people may say I get taken advantage of but I guess I couldn't live with myself if I took advantage of other people knowingly.

The second one, yes, people become handicapped if you do everything for them when they are fully capable. But we are humans. There are times we can't do things for themselves and that's when we need to do things for them until they can.

Poolside here would require duct tape and deck screws to hold things down. You don't want to be on the downwind side of the pool the whitecaps you get you wet. 20 MPH winds with gusts to 40. Dang Canadian air is invading again.

Back when I used to fly R/C planes it was not uncommon for the wind speed to be above the stall speed of the plane. While not ideal it was loads of fun. You could fly backwards in relation to the ground. It was cool doing backwards touch and go landings.

Went to visit my brother in Atlanta. While there went out the the local R/C flying field. There were 3 or 4 out flying their planes. The wind got up to 8 mph, they packed up and went home because it was too windy.

Wimps.

There are R/C airplane competitions where the participants are judge by how precisely they can fly a pattern. Those competitions are not cancelled due to wind unless it gets above 40 mph.

I took my motorcycle to work today. What a beautiful day for a ride. I had a couple hours to kill in between work responsibilities, so I stopped by the cemetery where my grandparents are buried and took a nap on the grass in the sunshine. I should start every Thursday like this.

Lets see, Joe, yes it is true that I drive a Boxster but I went the interior designer route, and that leaves the hairdresser jokes all yours.

D, if you still have the Rover when I get too Tucson all you will have to do is get it to me and foot the parts. Labor is free but you can buy me lunch.

I pulled the MLS but not the listing. It went back on the active MLS a couple of days ago.

D, I'm not sure I'd bother milling the heads. If it didn't overheat enough to mix fluids, you should be fine and, honestly, the block is just as likely to need milling. Besides, the RN replacement gaskets are usually a bit thicker to accommodate minor deviations. Even with timing chain and new gears (the teeth are nylon) you're looking at $150 in parts.

that is an incredibly generous offer. i am speechless and that is not a common occurrence.
