Blech.

That looks gross. Sorry I don't understand bacon on sweet stuff. Sonic sells a bacon milkshake. Not to me but they have em.

morning all. Looks like work today. Got a few drawing on my desk. Seems the engineer likes to leave them after I have gone home for the night. well two can play that game.

Lets see. Grew up using rendered bacon fat to cook things, including pancakes. Then we put butter and maple syrup on the pancakes. I really liked crumbling up the bacon and putting it in the pancake batter. Even today when I order pancakes I get a side or two of bacon to eat with them and usually end up getting syrup on my bacon. Don't see much difference in the sweetness of pancakes with syrup and glazed donuts.

Since I work from home and our manufacturing runs 24/7 I get task requests 24/7. Most things only take me a few of minutes to take care of and I can even do them from my iPhone so I usually just take care of them right away as they come in via email.

Each year on our anniversary month we are recognized by our supervisor at the monthly employee meeting. You are called up to the front of the meeting and the supervisor tells what job you do and you are given an anniversary gift. As part of describing what you do they use one of 49 character qualities and give an example of how you exhibit that quality in doing your job. The character qualities are kind of like the Boy Scouts scout law..trustworth, loyal, helpful, friendly, etc.

My first recognition after starting to work from home I was recognized for Availability. Part of the recognition was that I responded to tasks so quickly that it brought to light that the task approval process needed to be reviewed to make sure things werent submitted they really didn't want to change. Several other employees commented that an employee that is working from home was recognized for being one of the most available.

One of our good customers will send me an email and request a new flight or another big print from something we did already for him. He sent me an email at 9:00 PM one evening an I replied with an OK. All he wanted was an additional print from what we had done earlier that day. I logged onto the RIP station from my iPhone while sitting in the living room. I had everything ready for the next morning. I can in and first thing got it printing. I emailed the client that it would be done by 7:30 and he showed up and saw me cut it off of the printer. He smiled and asked what took so long. :)

He had us a check in 4 days. :D

Its not that I don't want to do the work it is the fact they wait till I leave dump it then don't come into work till late. It was a 1/2 hours worth of work that is now done and back waiting for him to show up. The worst offender will pull that stunt but not be in at all the next day.

Everything went well. It is hard to believe that it has been 2 years today since my last round of chemo.

We tease because we know totally cool your can take it. You understand we are all just male pigs.

tweezers74 06-06-2014 02:37 PM

It's like Buddhism. You will find peace when you accept. I accept all men are pigs so I am never disappointed. Even my sweet Sidney can be a jerko sometimes but sometimes I can be bat schit crazy too. I am at peace with that too. I don't know if Sidney is...
