I'd better go get ready for the W thing.

Have fun with them lemmings in the stinky tube David, and sing them the Liverpool football song (re Eurotrip) - the Poms really love that.

"When you walk through the storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

Walk on, through the wind
Walk on, through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone"

Try the above in the Tube. Or in a pub... :)

Seriously, give me taco bell, cheap beer and a cheap protein shake...I'll let loose some gas that'd have the UN going nuts...

RKDinOKC 08-17-2014 02:30 PM

That's cruel and unusual punishment, watch out for the ASPCA.

Yep, just like I figured. Very thought provoking and sensitive. They blowed it up real good.

Am I the only one awake this afternoon?

porsche4life 08-17-2014 04:50 PM

Yup... Just got up from an afternoon nap. ;)

We went to see Planes: fire and rescue this afternoon. Decent movie, I suspect we'll have to buy it for the little one.

Good looking chili wagon richard. They are growing on me for sure.

Outback Porsche 08-17-2014 05:27 PM

I like them Richard, but I'm biased coz they look like my Simmons OM16s

Took my Bro and Sis for a ride in the Pepper Pig this evening.

First thing my brother asked about was the motor compared to the Rover. Had to tell him the Rover had an anemic 180hp 3.9 liter V8 and the Cayenne S has a 340hp 4.5 liter V8. And that the air suspension was part of a trailer towing package that would tow up to 7700lbs. Joked that I needed to get a trailer so i could tow the 928 back and forth to the shop.

First thing they noticed was how much easier it was for Mom to get in compared to both sister's Expolder and brother's Escapé.

Leaving the neighborhood they immediately commented it rode more like a sports car than an SUV.

Took a well know local very bumpy road and got Wows all around at how well it really smoothed em out yet was still great handling and tight. Sister in back seat kept saying Wow, wow, wow, just wow. PASM is nothing less than amazing.

Hit the highway and pointed out how it lowered when we went over 70, then raised back up when we pulled off and slowed down. No comment from the peanut gallery. Don't think anyone would notice except for the light that tells you what the ride height is.

Overall, think my bro was really impressed. He had made a comment in the past and think he believed a Cayenne was just paying for the Porsche name. Think my 10 year old Cayenne really out-shined both their 2014 model Fords. Bro did comment that it was very nice.

The only thing that would have been more impressive is if I would have found one that also had the Enter and Drive, and the automatic lift gate options.

Good lord....getting the metal band of the luminox was insane. .. the sprint bars wouldn't budge so I ended up having to use a pair of hobby pliers and just yank the end pieces out, snapping the spring bars. Except for one luv that shared of in the hole. .. I tried to get it out with a dental pick and ended up slicing my thumb open with the dental pick. .... finally got it all worked out, new spring bats in and the canvas nato strap on. .

And a pic? Looks like last part of September before I get my new watch.

Porsche-poor 08-17-2014 11:09 PM

Morning all off to see the sights.

GH85Carrera 08-18-2014 05:28 AM

Morning all.

Hey David, are there a few old building to see there? :p

When my mom went to England she spent one night in a B&B that was once a pub that was built when dates had just three digits.

In Oklahoma City area there is virtually nothing built before 1889, and not really much from that era. The University in Edmond has one building that construction started in 1892.

England in on my bucket list of places to visit.

Gonna hit the range this weekend with some buddies and introduce them to a few dynamic drills...

RKDinOKC 08-18-2014 12:44 PM

Looks great. Not a big fan of metal bands.
