New gym is AWESOME!!!
I was going full on Hulk! Ran into a gal I helped when she was having car trouble....she recognized me....this was like 3 years ago, before the wild hair and beard and I've gained about 30lbs of muscle since then....yeah, the implications of that didn't set in until I was walking out to my car and she was long gone... |

I take it you weren't green at the time. Does she frequent that gym?
If so, go cut her coil wire.

Explain that to a 4 year old who likes to live life sideways. By the way, I always liked Lotus cars including both generations of Elan.

A friend of mine was into strength training in his early 20s. He wasn't trying to get bulky but was trying to get his muscle mass up. He was eating in the neighborhood of 22,000 calories per day. Said that was the most expensive part of lifting. Injured his knee doing box squat reps at 650lbs. He had some heart issues as he approached 40. Dr. said he didn't do enough cardio.

I don't eat that much, but I'm usually around 5-7k, I only keep track of my protein....just not worried about the other crap.

I have driven and owned a high performance front driver a time or two. Scared myself once doing a 4 wheel drift at 80 on the back roads. Was moving right out to the edge of the road and didn't want to get on the throttle and push wider so I rode it out. Turns out I had a few inches to spare.
Aside from not being able to put huge power down out of the corners they can hustle along rather well. The M100 is what, just over a ton? Colin Chapman's motto was keep it simple, add lightness. Well, off to mom's to get some fresh 'maters and then to music practice. See if we can't make someone's ears bleed.

UK and ROW m100s tend to clear 2200 without a problem.....the US variant has airbag and some other safety **** and tend to tip 2300. The dealer paperwork I have shows it as 2298 with an empty tank. The seats are actually pretty heavy, something like 46lbs each. For a track car, swapping those down to something lighter and removing the top (replacing with a roll bat) saves a good 120lbs or so.
General upkeep has been a dream compared to the damn jag. Tires are 1/2 the price and changing the oil with a good filter and RP runs $45. |

There are so many front wheel drive real race cars.
I personally prefer having the option of power oversteer instead of just simple oversteer.

Demo'd some **** inside the house and in the yard. No pics or vids, sorry. The best part of demo is having to make a run to the dump. Something about that is very liberating.

Ha ha ha! Catching up on some pelican. Pelican is my guilty pleasure. When I am crazy busy, I don't get to frequent here often. Just got done with a huge major big deal presentation and although I could be doing a lot, I have decided to waste two hours on Pelican and the internet. |
