Yes to crickets, and no, not poisonous.

Been mashing some humongous grasshoppers on the trip down here.

Morning.
Sent the trans. out of the F-550 off to be rebuilt Tues. Should be back this coming week.
Got the right front axle out for a new outer u-joint. Hoping I can find a Spicer joint and the seals along with the O rings for the locking hub today. Only place open today is Napa and Advanced Auto. Doubt they'll have what I need.

Watch out for the giant grasshoppers. Hit one with my Boxster and it's juice ate the clear coat off where it splatted.

Pete I am glad to hear most things are closed on Sunday where you are. I would love to see the blue laws reinstated

In the 70's and Early 80's we had a car parts store that was open 24/7 and had everything. You may have to go to one or another of their stores to get it, but they always had the part or kit. Now matter what time I would go by that place there was at least one customer. It was called Ted Ward's Auto Supply.

There was even a Chevy Dealership that their service and parts department was open 24/7 to compete with Ted's.

Now I think they all are open 9am to 9pm.

If everything was closed on Sunday like it used to be, people would be forced to slow down for at least one day. I can only see that as a good thing in the long term

Time to cross the woomera rocket range again - takes about 3 hours to get to the other side.

that means that somewhere between 200 million to 300 million people on the planet are bent on the destruction of the west. that means that the battle is against something like the entire population of the USA that is bent on the destruction of the USA, as the USA is seen as the leader of the west.

THEN you add the complication that this is a religion, thus has no borders, no specific government, no centralized leadership, and it becomes clear how complex and dangerous the problem has become.
