Why the hell did Sid get first billing here?
Well that was a great way to spend a day, the Boxster came back on a flatbed. I blew an idler pulley and let me tell you something that really sucked. The belt is just a scant eight inches behind my elbow and when it went it was gettin' busy with the scatter shield. It kind of felt like the three headed dog that guards the gates of hell was trying to come say Hi. No one has the pulley but I did manage to find a bearing so I replaced that and now I will get a belt on friday, and be back in biz.
It could be worse. My sons boss was picking on me when I swung by there. He said life must be hard, my Porsche broke down so I have to drive my other Porsche. Yeah I fooled him, I was in the Mercedes.

Okay, so here goes...

My 94 928 GTS has 72,000 miles on it. It has GT cams, X-pipe, sport cats, rear muffler bypass, aftermarket springs, Koni red externally adjustable dampers, aftermarket anti-sway bars, and non-stock wheels. It is a rare color combo, 3 exist. It is also a 5 speed, 74 made in 94.

A very good condition 928 GTS is currently valued at $68,000 by Haggerty. And the 928 is getting a lot of press and attention in the collector car world as a car that is increasing in value. Excellent condition low mileage all stock GTSs have sold in the $90K to $110K range.

The factory radio died.f

What I am wondering is should I fix the radio by,
1.) Go back in stock,
2.) Find a good stereo system that fits all the stock locations.
3.) Modify the center console to fit a double din stereo and install the lastest and greatest with all the bells and whistles.

Well if it were mine there is no way I would modify the car for a frigging radio, I do not like cutting panels for something that is an accessory, thats just me.
If you do listen to the radio I would replace the head unit with an up to date all the bells and whistles unit, if you don't really use it that much, just send the factory unit out for repair.
Everything on your car is reversible, modifying the console and/or dash is not

I can do the same with the console as everything else. Get one from the junk yard, modify it and swap em.

Looks like they are airing all the previous Dr. Who Christmas specials today before the new one tomorrow. Right now it the one has Kylie Minogue as the companion.

Good Evening folks. We decided that working until 12:01 was afternoon so we knocked off work in the afternoon. That is enough work for this week.

Max. I watch a lot of BBS America. I see the promos for Dr. Who all the time. I just have not tried to get back to it after all these years.

Merry Christmas everyone.

The modern DW is pretty entertaining, but I'd suggest starting at the beginning and working through....too many interweaved plot lines to just pick up.

I think we've shown you a couple good reasons to start watching again.

It's hard to tell from a post with no smilies whether you are using verbal irony or being serious.

Evening Y'all,
Just went over to the sons and got rid of a ton of wrapped things from my house. It's been a night mare trying to keep Panzer from unwrapping them.
D I am just trying to keep the miles low on the car, it has better resale value.

Katherine Jenkins in the Dr. Who Christmas Carol. Much much better than the every Mythbusters ever rerun marathon.
