Morning Y'all,
Richard do the train horn conversion, that'll get someones attention |
That reminds me...
We were out 4 wheelin and to get to one good spot we had to drive about 1/2 mile down a train track. One night as we were about ready to exit the track one of the guys showed us and addition to his Willis Jeep. Hanging back he turned on all his off road lights (really bright) and honked his new train horn as he came up going fast. We about wrecked trying to get off the tracks faster. |
Morning all. The 911 is ready for the autocross.

Would be a little difficult to locate a golf ball here today.

Ugh. One of the kitties hasn't looked too perky this weekend. Subdued. Not his normal self. Of course, stuff like this only happens on weekends when the vet is closed. So This morning I took him to the emergency vet (only open on weekends/nights/holidays) across the street from his usual vet. Not sure why he's under the weather, but I do know it'll be at least $775.

Jenny?

We just picked up the remains of our little kitty, no blue box for this one, he actually came home in an engraved coffin with a sterling frame for a picture of him and some other items that I have not looked at yet.
You would figure that after two weeks I would be over the loss but not really. :( |
Stijn!!
We had a great autocross. Perfect chamber of commerce weather except just a tiny a little bit breezy. (15 to 25 mph) it was 78 degrees and clear skies. At first the autocross chairman had a short course and we all started whining and we convinced him to let us play on the full track. Wheeeeeee whoooo Hooo. Yea ha.
Dang that was fun. 8 laps of fun. |
Rick, if you get a puppy you won't have time to think about it. :)
I let the emergency vets handle all of Camber's arrangements, no ashes, and didn't even keep the collar. Have enough trouble fighting off the hoarding gene, especially when it makes me want to cry. My SIL brought by one of her grandsons to play with Pepper. His family has chickens but won't let him have a dog. He is six. When SIL told him taking care of a dog was just like feeding, watering, and cleaning up after the chickens. He said, "Yeah, but you can play with a dog." Think I would have caved. He and Pepper chased around in the yard for about 20 minutes. Now Pepper is doing the hard crash puppy nap thing. |
Sorry, Rick.

I can't have a dog, one I am not home enough for a dog, and two I worry about the safety of a dog at my house. I have once cat that I know will attack a dog, one I suspect will and one that I would never see again unless I wanted to go under the furniture.
I'll be okay, it is just going to take time, he was a very big part of my life, he slept on me and was always with me when I was home |
That's what they tried to tell me...

Sorry Rick....losing a loved pet sucks. The ashes of my old man lab are in the storage compartment under the passenger seat of my old Land Rover.... That was his favorite place. The current, mildly deranged, pup is growling at the ceiling.....anyone got a doggy Prozac? |
Growl with him
|
Her.
I started barking at her and she started barking at me then went back to growling. |
