Jeff wouldn't it have been easier to just pull the rocker cover instead of fishing the debris out the hole?

You'd think, but the inlet manifold is this weird two piece contraption that folds over itself and is pia to disassemble/reassemble. It requires removal to get to the cover. Besides, I'd probably have to wait a week for new gaskets. It was worth having a go at it.

Good Saturday morning.

I get to haul Mrs Carrera and the dogs to the vet for the dog's annual shots. Mrs Carrera is coming because she gets to pay for the visit and she wants me to come along because I have bench seats in the El Camino. I am just a taxi service.

Rick V 02-14-2015 06:14 AM

Glens taxi, yeah when you said "I do" it happened

Holy crap that was a not fun trip, everything from people running stop signs to using a right signal to clear two lanes to the right. The ONLY saving grace is the last moron who shot a stop sign in front of me (I never hit the brakes and waited for the crunch as Peggy folded up his subi like a beer can) was going to the same place as me so he got a big earful from me. I think I am staying home for the rest of the day

Outback Porsche 02-14-2015 12:53 PM

Noooooooooo, Sunday already :(

Rick V 02-14-2015 01:33 PM

I bet it's gunna come buy far too quickly though.

I went back to sleep for a little longer, hot cross buns are in the oven, coffee is on it's way. Not too bad a start to a lazy Sunday.

Burrrrppppp. Dang I am stuffed.

I only ate a banana for breakfast knowing the El Camino club breakfast at 10:00 am was not far off. I was hungry when the time arrived and had blueberry pancakes. I get home and play in the garage since it is such a pretty day. 78 degrees for the high.

I got a call from my wife who is helping one of her friends. The same ones that stayed here last week. Anyway my wife wants me to come over there to pick her up so we all can go to my favorite restaurant. So four hours after breakfast I was eating my favorite meal at my favorite place.

I always take Mrs Carrera there for our anniversary since we had our first date ever there.

I do have lots of leftovers!

Burp. Burp.

Nephew and his wife and kids came to visit Pepper. They brought treats and toys. They played with Pepper for an hour and wore that Pepper Puppy smooth out. She loves chasing kids around. They left when it was obviously puppy crash time.

She also passed her first day of leash training. Drug it around this morning while I played with her in the yard. This evening we walked around with her following. Just called her and got her used to following me keeping the leash slack.

I'm sure you guys are enjoying the Pepper Training Chronicles. :)

Hope all you guys with romantic partners made/make the best of today.

Rick, admit it, you really enjoyed smashing that vehicle. I know if I drove a tank I would not yield to anyone else not obeying the rules, and would be hard pressed not to laugh maniacally at them. Laughed at the dude in the 80's Buick that smashed into my GMC Jimmy from behind while I was stopped at a red light. Left a little chip of yellow paint on my trailer hitch ball. Totaled the Buick. It was crinkled from the windshield forward and produced a big puddle of oil and coolant.

Hmmm let me reflect....

I played with my old tojo through the morning, played golf in the arvo, she went out for a work dinner, I went to the cinema. Yeah, a pretty romantic day...I did let her sleep in and made her breaky in bed, and I let her make me some lunch. :D

Roses are tits.
Violets are tits.
I love tits.
Yay tits.

Rick V 02-14-2015 04:43 PM

We went out and Beth spent my money, just a usual sat here

RKDinOKC 02-14-2015 04:52 PM

Some more...

Roses are red.
The Hulk is green.
I'd totally smash you,
If you know what I mean.

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Poems are hard
Beer

Roses are red
Grass is greener
When I think of you
I touch my wiener

Would NOT recommend using any of the above poems.

Rick, one of the guys in our Elky club started a repair shop for American cars years ago. His son runs it now and my buddy goes down to drink coffee and BS with long time customers.

Today he said his son was floored with a client reply. He told the customer his rear brakes were worn out and needed to be replaced. The customer said to not fix them "because I don't back up very much".

Mouth breathers, they truly walk amongst us.

RKDinOKC 02-15-2015 03:10 AM

Earlier Pepper came bouncing in and jumped to land on my lap while I was in the recliner and just smashed into the front of it between my legs. I may have to start wearing a cup to sit in the recliner.
