Good morning folks.

We will be off to the PCA monthly breakfast soon. I suspect only a few folks will drive their Porsche. It is cloudy and the possibility of stuff falling out of the sky is elevated. Only the few that have a Porsche as their daily driver will drive one. Mine will stay clean and dry in the garage.

the issue is that the idle is often slow to drop back to idle RPM. i suppose it could be the idle valve, too. i was expecting a lot of blow-by oil in the TPS. there was none. in fact, the throttle body seemed pretty darn tight/sealed.

i see an intake removal in my near future. and paper towels. LOTS of paper towels.

i think i'll just drape a surgical towel over the entire set of intake ports. much less likely to leave in place while installing the intake manifold.

I think we're hitting 37 before late thunderstorms. Don't know if I'll get a hit of golf in today or not.

Sheeeeeeet! The front yard is flooded and the point of origin appears to be the sprinkler solenoid pit.
