Camber chewed everything up. In minutes. The only thing she wasn't able to chew apart was the gumabone frisbee and she chewed on it all the time. It has 3 tooth dents, not holes, just dents in it. Camber loved to catch the frisbee until she got older, then I had to roll it instead of throwing it. She wasn't fast enough to catch it in the air.

Pepper doesn't seem interested in catching anything yet. She just watches it until it stops then takes out after it. Kinda like a bird retriever is supposed to do. She even lets pop corn just hit her in the nose. She fetches good, but her favorite is of course tug of war.

Penny, my first golden went thru a false pregnancy, she even made milk. she adopted this little stuffed teddy bear, and chewed up everything except that bear, she just carried it around and licked on it.

Pepper likes to chew ice cubes. She also fetched my shoes from across the room yesterday. Told her to fetch my shoes and she knew what and where they were. They were up on a stool too.

Her most consistent trick is still getting so excited when a girl starts talking to her in that high voice she just wriggles and pees.

Digging actually into the vehicle.....the Rover is beyond fried.....there's insulation melting off wires all over...it'd need new harnesses and god knows what else....but at least I know that it's crap now....gotta figure out if I'm gonna scrap it or sell it for parts.

Thinking about selling the lotus and grabbing an 07 ML320 diesel, pre bluetec and all that stupid DEF crap.

Sell it to Rover Cannibal. If it's worth fixing they will fix it, otherwise they part it out. That's what the Rover Cannibal here in OKC does. That's who I was going to call if Craigslist didn't sell it.

Our current Aussie is alot heavier and more muscular than our previos Aussie, so he prefers the tennis balls on the ground. The earlier Aussie would do acrobatics to get a frisbee 6 feet in the air or out over a pond.

Properly trained my first golden for fetch. Say Fetch and she took off running. Say Mark and she would sit and watch it until you said Fetch. She even did blind retrieves where I would whistle and she would stop and look at me to see what direction to run.

Righto...so I must be the heavier more muscular Aussie, as I don't do tennis balls or acrobatics. That leaves Azzy and Vas as the other two Aussies. So which one does what where?

Rick, taking the larger truck to an auction would be perilous I would think. It has a capacious cargo capacity.

I have never been arrested, though on a couple occasions I would have been had they had better radio coordination and better knowledge of the land. One I met a cop while I was accelerating past 110 on a lightly trafficked 4 lane and he caught the guy chasing me. I took the exit 1/2 mile up the road which led to an intersection where I could go upstate, to another state or home. The other I was in a four wheel drift on an off ramp when the po po happened to come out of the gas station. I was gone before he had his car started.

Our old lab Theresa was great with a Frisbee but one occasion she was playing and about half way back from retrieving she decided to take a dump. She dropped the Frisbee upside down, did a couple turns and dropped her load in the Frisbee. She carried it back with her nose curled the hole way. Our current dogs are terrible at catching the Frisbee. When we went on vacation a couple years ago out current lab Jackie decided to play with the guy that came to do the baffles on the septic system. She threw her stuffed goose to him but came up short and it went in the septic. He was good about it and hosed it off and threw it on the roof to dry. Dad showed up a bit later to help the guy since we weren't home and the guy told dad what happened. Yesterday she got all excited and plowed into the snow blower I was prepping for summer storage. She is blind in one eye. No, we did not name her Jackie the rescue did.

Joe, any word from LR on the issue?

Those competitive frisbee dog people go thru 500 frisbees a year.

Had my dog stop a pee on the newspaper she was fetching from the driveway.

Back in the bad old days of the national 55 MPH limit running 70 was crazy fast and could win you a set of bracelets and night at the gray-bar motel. I knew a guy in the SCCA that "won" that honor in Mississippi on a road trip. I was hauling through that same area at night on a trip from Alabama to Oklahoma. It was summertime and in an un-air-conditioned 914 night time driving was the smart choice. I passed a few reflections that was down in the median area of the interstate. I had just passed a long string of cars and he must have had to wait for all those cars to go past. I never did for sure see any lights but I figured it would be a perfect time to pull off the road at the very handy exit in front of me. I pulled into a gas station and was pumping 18 gallons into the tank and I saw a cop running hot down the highway. I figured it would be a good time to have a meal so I stayed for a meal at the greasy spoon. I never did see any more lights for the rest of the trip.

Now when I cruise past a state trouper at the legal speed limit of 75 I have the instinct to slow down but I just smile!

I can sympathize. As I was about to turn off the light to go to bed I told my wife that if she hears a loud pop and me moaning to grab the dogs real quick. I figured my nose was going to blow off of my face from the pressure. I did not want it to fly across the room and land on the floor. I figured the dogs would grab it and eat it or chew on it.

Sinus pressure blows!

He must have read the jokes about Lucas and took them as gospel. Probably a graduate from Comcast service.
