I am a habitual turn signal user. In fact, sometimes find myself signaling a curve in the road.
Have often dreamed of smashing some dain bread driver with the bull bars on my full size Jimmy. In truth, closest I ever got was some Buick smashing into the Back while I was already stopped at a light. Dern it, he made a yellow paint spot on my hitch ball. Oh yeah, it is morning, hope its a good one fer ye. Puppy is gone wild already this morning. All cardboard, sticks, paper or anything in a trash can beware! |

When I was working on my wiper motor swap I removed the fender liner. It made inspecting the suspension pretty easy. The suspension has nothing to do with the wiper motor but I am always looking and watching for signs of excessive wear on every component. One reason it takes me so long to do any repair is I get distracted and fix other little things "while I am in there."
I noticed the ball joints had some slop and the center link had some play. I lube them at every oil change so they always have fresh grease but 29 years of steering has been know to wear out some parts. I figured I was too lazy to tackle it and I knew it would need an alignment after a swap so I cheated and took it to a shop less than mile from my office. They did their inspection and said the ball joints were a 5 out of 10 and the center link was a 7 of 10 and a 10 is so worm out it is dangerous. Since that is why I took it in I figured they we right. Anyway when I picked it up the owner of the place said all the mechanics were amazed to see a 86 El Camino in such nice shape for a vehicle with over 200,000 miles. I explained it is at 335,000 miles now. One of the mechanics came in the office and said if I wanted to sell it let him know. I told him maybe in another 20 years. |

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1426682157.jpg They are on a hydraulic ram so you can lower them at anytime. It might deter tailgaters. |
Hehehe, I like it, I like it a lot

Good afternoon all. |
Try a spicier sauce. Or maybe a good dry rub.

Some days I am ready to take Richards idea to heart and apply the dry rub with a media blaster, then the sauce.
There are people I like, but they earn their way on that list. |
Hmmm, wonder how that would work on Pork..
|
You could do a nice even coat and it would be pressed in pretty good. Don't know what it would do the the media blaster though.
|
OK, someone has to buy a cheap media blaster from harbor freight and give it a try...

My condolences on your Mother's passing. She gave you everything you needed to become such a fine son. |
Evening Y'all
People around here view tailgating as a local sport, I love it when they do it to Peggy. She has remote brake lights (electric trailer brake controller ) Two hundred watts of rear facing driving lights, and when I really want to be a dick, the 4speed can bring her to a grinding halt without bring up the brake lights. The class V hitch back there and step bumper make hitting her in the ass a bad idea. I love my truck. The M1078, well that is a whole new ballgame, most people simply wreck getting away from that monster, she is too fun to drive |
